I wasn't overly worried about you getting him as I've heard he's a weirdo and probably wouldn't like the limelight.

The more I think of it though, it's likely to be an improvement on what you have.

Anybody that's a fresh face would be welcomed

Eddie Howe would get my vote , he would be a great appointment I think

Speaks well and done a marvelous job at Bournemouth

Yup desperation stakes - anything better than NL. The big concern for me is the problem potentially running deeper and PL not going cheaply.

We waited weeks after we already reached tipping point just so NL could have a go at the 4x3. Why would they now change their outlook and not give him a run at the SC? For that matter they think they're still in the league. Or, more likely, season is fckd anyway, no need to rush an appointmemt.

Been going there too, it's that desperate!

You can have all the badges in the world.
You can talk a good game and understand what needs done.

If you can't connect and motivate the players it is a non-starter.

I think it was the Guardian Football Weekly podcast that we’re talking about what he’d do after he parted ways with Bournemouth. Problem being he’s very settled and tied to that area.

Course the Celtic job would be massive for him, so could change all that.

Not sure about Eddie Howe. He might be OK but it's a risk.
He wouldn't be working for peanuts , would probably bring an entire backroom staff and be very expensive to move on in the event of failure.

We missed an opportunity when big yogi went to Ross County. I'd have taken him to the end of the season just for him to boot fack out of those shiftless bastirts.

Its been a sh!tshow since that clown Bolingoli did his thing. The manager hasn't looked interested all season which is incredible given that legendary status was there for the taking. The first Rangers game should have been the end for him added to the CL disaster. 3 international breaks came and went and all we got was arrogance. In hindsight the players who wanted away should have been punted. Duffy is a total mystery - a more than decent EPL CB who looks like he never played football in his life. I alomst feel sorry for him until I remember what he's earning. Not sure about Howe but a change is well overdue and would take him over Lennon any day.

I can see Howe biding his time down south for a job like Brighton/Wolves/Crystal Palace

I'd like to see him pinning a few those fackers up against a wall.
I like the big man. A very honest pro. Just as he was as a player.
I remember Lennon being interviewed after his first spell. He was talking about how he got Mjallby to sort out 'difficult issues'.
Cant imagine JK does much of that.

Peter Lawwell seemed to be running you perfectly till a few years ago too. The only players that seem to have impressed that have been brought in in the last couple years are Soro and Turnbull, and that’s based on a couple months. Frimpong too to be fair.

Even if you had a new manager last couple games they’d have been without half a team, and even if you get a new manager surely it’s your recruitment that needs sorted. If likes of Julien, Duffy, Barkas and Ajeti were worth the money they’ve cost yous should have horses us

Mjallby would definitely have you drop a stone in a minute if he went at you though

If Lennon had been sacked at the start of December or even earlier, I'm sure whomever replaced him would have had us playing better.

What with the Dubai debacle and Lennon hanging around like an albatross around Celtic's neck, we are moving backward.

Get anybody in until the end of the season and get Lennon to fvck asap.

I'd like Eddie Howe, but he's a south coast lad and the goldfish bowl up here would be too much for him I fear.

Agree..... he's just biding his time waiting for something closer to home. He would probably take a job in English Championship before he would consider coming up here.

Lennon's still here because there's no outstanding available candidate at the moment. That will hopefully change when Rangers win the league.

Managing Celtic would certainly be very different from anything Howe had ever done before so its difficult to say how he would cope.

He can probably walk down the street in Bournemouth and everyone will greet him in a friendly manner.

Up here would be a different scenario altogether. A totally different set of pressures in a divided city.

I am not sure Howe has really done anything in his managerial career to say he is the right man to rebuild Celtic right now.

And I am not completely convinced Howe would want the hassle.

If he comes up here and struggles then his stock plummets.

Yogi would be funny.

He might actually do well but he won the cup at Caley and most of their fans still can't stand him
