I think it would make the game a whole lot better if a game ended 0-0. Neither team gets any points.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The issue I could see with this is that it could get abused by some.
There's nothing wrong, IMO, in two top class defensive performances being rewarded with a point each.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Indeed, and why the fack should a team struggling for relegation have to worry about trying to score at Anfield, OT etc?
Noticeable the officials are torn in these games and can't just award United a winning penalty or VAR decision as they would do against the lesser lights of the league.

Boing Boing. And after the Wolverhampton inbreds dived to cheat their way to a peno too.
Boing Boing. 😁

Wolves could go down. They are truly crap. Let's hope so as it's the country's most pro Brexit town apparently.

Really interesting.
I'm not capable of doing it myself but I know a few people who are basically professional gamblers - except it's not really gambling then, is it?
They make a great living off of finding value in the markets and the Betfair Exchange changed their lives.
Really interesting that you're a copywriter as well - do you work freelance?
I work with a fair few copywriters in my business, although generally they're being hired by the client rather than me. It's a real art form.
I read 'How to write better copy' last year and it's helped me, but more than ever I understand the naivety of people who think they can just write this stuff themselves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I did do some freelance on the side for extra money, but I was employed at the time. Then the industry changed and the demand for copy wasn't as high, so my role changed into a general marketing role, running campaigns across multiple channels; email shots, ppc, social media etc. Which did still involve writing a decent amount of copy. I also learnt a lot about building websites. Another interesting time where I leant a lot.

Sounds good.
The problem in marketing is that too many unqualified people think they know how to do everything when in fact, they know how to do nothing.
Some of the copy out there these days is truly appalling - buzzwords and lazy captions.
That said, sometimes that means that the people who do know what they're doing stand out a mile because they deliver results.

A lot of copy is now dated because it was written with Googles search algorithm in mind. So it is crammed full of keywords/phrases that people want their websites to rank well for in the search results. As the algorithm evolved and became more intelligent search optimisation didn't rely on the page copy be so rich in keywords. And so website copy could become more natural. But some marketeers still swear that it pays off to still use the old techniques and ram their copy with keywords. Which is usually the reason it doesn't read well. But if you are on the front page of the search results, who cares?
