None of the players mentioned apart from maybe Gomez are key players for Liverpool though, are they? Matip is only playing due to injury, last year and the year before he was benched until Gomez was injured.

It would be ridiculous of me to suggest United, LFC, Everton or even Spurs won't drop points but I just think the Europa League will be sacrificed in order to go for the title. Sociedad are decent and it's the perfect chance to rest players and go out strategically.

Matip ok fine the guy is a decent defender and reads the game well compared to the blind panic of lovren but the reality is if your body can't cope then it cannot cope.
Muscle injuries left and right, back spasms etc. its all interlinked.
Same for ketia, whether he just can't cope or is a very poor player at warming up or whatever I don't know. But its constant.
Don't think it's a secret that we need another CB. Matip is what he is; he's a fine defender when he's able to play but that seems to be with decreasing frequency. He should be entering his peak years at 29 but it's difficult to see him putting his injuries issues behind him. Still, he was a free and has hugely contributed over the last 3 years so all good even if he stays as a squad player.
Gomez has had some terrible luck but it's got to be taking a toll. He'd be superhuman for the injuries not to play on his mind to some extent. Still, I wouldn't necessary get rid. The lad is 23 and has the talent to succeed.
Keita is the one who may be reaching the end. This season was a big one for him in terms of finally making an impact following a good end to 20/21. He's the one I can see heading back to Germany. Shame because I had high hopes based on reports in Germany and Klopp's keeness to sign him but its just not happened for him.
Mbappe is a non-starter (obviously). And Salah has scored over 100 goals in 3.5 years for us, has 13 from 16 in the EPL this season but you want rid after a couple of indifferent performances?! That's not a grenade, it's stupidity.
