That's more down to the whole team though, not necessarily the CB pairing which is why I still think Ramos and Varane.

Who are atletico's CBs?

Atletico set up in a way that makes it much easier for the CBs

Like how dier looks decent for us with Jose in charge

Fabinho is very good as a CB I must say. Wasn't he originally RB at Monaco?? Decent player, massively missed in your midfield.

The OP is the best pairing in the world CURRENTLY. Stones and Dias have conceded just 1 goal in 10 games as a partnership. Can’t really argue against them currently being the best around

Fabinho is infinately better than Gomez at CB.

Ramos/Varane have conceded 16 in 17
Stones/Garcia have conceded 1 in 10

Yes. As a pair have Stones and Dias been examined enough? 10 games isn't a lot. Plus City are a lot more pragmatic this season, their record as a pair (like Atleti) is a lot to do with how they're set up as a team.

Stones is 26 and Dias is 23.

There's the potential there for a fantastic 5 year partnership barring serious injury.
