See if the rumours are correct and Celtic have proof that the ScotGov changed their rules retrospectively to punish Celtic then that really would be incendiary.
What is the FIFA penalty for governments interfering in football? That right, kicked out, no Euros, no CL place etc. Nae luck nippy, nae Indy surge. Nae luck Rangers, nae £40m.

Interesting to find out what happened there.....but in all honesty mate, for me it's clutching at straws
There is a far bigger picture here, and for me it supercedes all of this
See if ye's didnae go anywhere.....none of this happens
The government, both Scottish and UK, have been telling folk for nearly a year now, that the rules around travel restrictions and quarantine policy, can and will change at short notice for all non essential travel
This was non essential travel

From what people have said they were on the understanding that 2 meters was the distance required on the plane but that changed to 2 seats in front and 2 seats behind.
Would love to know what plane they were on that 2 seats is more than 2 meters, certainly not one ive ever been on

I’m not in any way condoning the trip or what went on but if the government changed the “rules” not only retrospectively but also taking them to a new level that does not apply in any circumstances whatsoever to any other person or business; and then use those rules to ban people from their work then in my mind they should be answerable.
Unless of course you’re happy for the government to interfere in football at any juncture in time and make things up retrospectively to punish anyone they feel like.

During all of the 2m rule; aircraft were permitted to fly passengers for up to hours on end in these conditions as ridiculous as that sounds. I know because I flew a number of times during it.
If they want to change the rules that’s fine. But you don’t do it retrospectively having already given permission and then use the new rules to stop people working.
That’s just ludicrous.

As I said they allowed everyone to travel by aircraft with no additional social distancing. The conditions were that a mask was worn for the duration of the flight and that aircraft have a number of purified air change systems.

Some lengths they are stretching to cover for the clusterfluck that is this season
Aye the government made you scheidt in Europe, an embarrassment that just keeps getting worse...

I you look in, take it easy man and enjoy the break if you feel like one.
This place and social media can be toxic and annoying at times, so getting away from it can be good for body and soul.
Stay safe bud.

The rules changed
I'm struggling to see past that, and take any defence against it seriously

It was a chartered flight. Haven't see the particular aircraft but they tend to use ones that are pretty nicely kitted out.

If the whole plane is fitted out long haul BC then probably.
But I wouldn't know.
I do know that BA have been flying people out of the UK with no distancing on flights so I'm not sure where the 2m thing comes from.

As I said they allowed everyone to travel by aircraft with no additional social distancing. The conditions were that a mask was worn for the duration of the flight and that aircraft have a number of purified air change systems.

If Celtic feel they have been harshly treated I have no issues with them raising it and pursuing it.
I think it may fall as it's not the right thing politically

Agreed.
But the way they are managing it with Lawwell and Lennon in the media is amateur hour.
