He was always a good manager. Very naive in Europe and in the big games. He’s obviously learned a bit since.

I have a lot of time for Brendan , good manager decent man . If we can’t won’t would be very happy to see Leicester do it

Think he’s a tad bit overrated still. He’s been given a really good young Leicester side to manage with a fantastic goalscorer. Even Ole would do a half decent job.

When Poch was being advocated for us, I suggested Brendan, mind you I don't know if we could have got him.
Apart being perma tanned and sometimes sounding like David Brent, I rated him.

I wouldn't swap him for Ole now though.
He did inherit a good young team, Ole didn't.

Don’t pranks, you’ll make them upset mate and stop them believing they actually will win something with Ole!

Like Brendan. Clear he has learnt more now, defensively he WAS useless and in Europe tbh not a clue; but he's a lot better now..fair play to him

I always rated Brendan, his teams played some good stuff.

On a separate note, I think Ole is surprising some of you, as he's surprised some of us.

He's a great coach and man manager. Thoroughly deserves the praise he is rightly receiving.

He wasn't the best in the transfer market working in congunction with the 'transfer committee'.

I'd be pleased for him, Although not too pleased considering it would mean we haven't won it. He's a good manager, tactically very good and plays football the right way, trains young players how to play in a system and work as a team.

He was unlucky at Liverpool, had us playing some outstanding football and nearly won the league with a far inferior squad to some of the others. We then lost our top striker and our second striker became injured nearly every week. We signed Balotelli to score the goals, against Rodgers' wishes, ended up having to play young Sterling upfront as Balotelli was the worst Liverpool signing of all time and the rest is history.

I think he is a very good coach but I would at this stage still err on the side of caution. Leicester are doing exactly what they did last season, they were 2nd for most of the 1st half of the campaign then totally fell apart 2nd half of season when the games started to catch up with them.

Id have no issue with him being successful in the future, whether thats at Leicester or 1 of the bigger budget sides (chelsea is actually looking more of a possibility these days). His time with us was definitely up though. It had got to the stage where I dont think half the players knew where they were meant to be playing, 6-1 at stoke, 3-1 at home to palace the week before (which couldve also easily been 6-1). He had really lost his way.

Good luck to him though. Certainly no hard feelings. Ajd as someone mentioned above I will he forever grateful for the football he had the team playing early 2014, the most exciting ive ever seen from us.

He is a very good manager who for some reason turned into a joke figure. He is starting to get back some of that respect I feel from fans. Every club he has been at he has done a good job and arguably overachieved, it is quite rare for a manager to have that in their CV.

Leicester for a portion of this season had significant injury issues barely picked on by fans/pundits. Some of the teams they were putting out looked bang average. At one time Soyuncu, Castagne, Vardy, Ndidi, Ricardo and Maddison were all out, and their performances never really dropped.

That 13-14 season is still some of the best attacking football our club has ever seen.

Keep him away from transfers though.

Rodgers is a guy who learned his trade well at chelsea and has his style of play but I think you'll find they fell apart with the players mentioned above being out and let utd take the CL off them.

So yeah he's all right not he is not got that ruthlessness imo

Anyone else think he might end up back at Chelsea?

Poisoned chalice.

Guaranteed to be sacked at some point as Plump Flumpard is about to find out.

Brendan should stay well clear.
