I would say unlikely.

When you look at the squads of: Liverpool, Man City and Man Utd (apart from defence) you would have to say that we shouldn’t be competitive really. I also expected Chelsea to be up there having spent the best part of a quarter of a billion pounds.

Realistically, we’re competing with Arsenal to nudge them out of a Europa League place, but Everton, Southampton and Aston Villa will also have aspirations to do that.

We would truly have excelled if we manage to beat the likes of Spurs for the final CL place. Not impossible, but tough to maintain the required form for a whole season and proved beyond us last time out.

Winning it? I don’t think so - but stranger things have happened.

Absolutely they can, but I don't think they will.

It's ridiculous that after so many stupid dropped points we're currently 5 points off top with a game in hand!

We're still in the mix for the title race, same as we have been all season. I'd put us right in the same bracket as Leicester - can we win the title? 100% yes. Will we win the title? Almost certainly not. But I've definitely said that about Leicester before.....

If they don’t do from this position then they’ve bottled it tbf

Can yes, very likely not... looking at the teams this year still can’t see past Man City

Anyone in the current top half can win it, other than arsenal who will be back in the bottom half where they are warranted after villa start playing games again

I wouldn't be surprised if they finish above Chelsea.

I really like Leicester. Quality manager and players and play lovely football.

I think they will get top 4, and there is definitely an outside chance of the title as long as city don't go on a crazy run.

I don't think they'll win the title but I think they'll finish in the top four ahead of us.

They recruit fantastically well. Justin & Fofana have been great finds for them.

Er ..... Leicester City winning the Premier League in 2015/16 having barely stayed up the previous season

sold two decent english defenders for £130m too. Crazy business and unreal squad management.

I really like Leicester and they’ve still got their best player to come back (though who knows how good he’ll be after so long out). In terms of league performances they’ve been the second most impressive team in the PL for me behind Man City.

Unfortunately I can’t see past Man City winning it currently but a month ago I’d have said the same thing about Liverpool.

exactly, something Spurs could aspire to do maybe

Nope, definitely not for me.

Way too reliant on Vardy ( whose's one trick pony style should have been sussed out ages ago btw ) and Madison. Either get injured for a period and they will drop like a stone. Top 4, just, but easily slip back to 5th or 6th.

Setting aside our hopes and dreams as fans of Spurs, we all know City have now clicked into gear, and with their squad, coupled with Liverpool's obvious decline from last year, will walk it this season.

Of the others ?

Spurs.- Stop throwing leads away, and get players other than Kane and Son to chip in with regular goals, and we have a good top 4 shout. But not the title.

Utd - where they are due partly to officials decisions consistently going their way, and the lack of form from others. False position for me, but big enough squad to at least achieve top 4.

Liverpool- still the second best in the league, but have clearly dropped off. Probably guaranteed second.

Everton - started very well, but we all know they will drop off. Top 6 should be within their grasp, subject to no injuries to any key players.

Chelsea - strange one. Should be up there with the squad they have and money spent, but they just look so disjointed. Last night's game was typical of what we have seen from them for some time. That said, you would expect top 6 come the end of the season.

Can't really look at any others to challenge, although I do like to watch Southampton.
