Battered in all 3 formats. Well played India
Unlucky England

I'm sure revenge is on the cards this summer. Can't wait.

Really hope when we play them in the summer. We go after them with the short stuff and run through their batting line up like we normally do in England.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Bring it on . Not sure you're aware but India aren't too bad bad at playing the short stuff now.

battered is harsh...beaten yeah, we were two hits away from the ODI, & one of the test pitches was an utter disgrace, - think England did ok.

Some of the decision making for instance batting Buttler at 5 when he should be in the top 3.. Not great understanding of the game..

to be honest, there isn't much between our first five batsmen anyway

Since 90's India has only lost following test series at home

1) against Pakistan in 1999
2) Australia in 2004 under Adam Gilchrist
3) England in 2012

Against Pakistan though the decider test was not part of test series, it was part of Asian test championship.

India is easily the most difficult side to beat at their home.

These days invariably home teams wins. India winning in Australia was an exception

India;s recent record in England is not impressive so I doubt exception occuring frequently.
What I fail to understand is how Nzl in final of test championship. They have won against any top 4 team .

Or I have missed it.

posted on 29/3/21

Nzl have not won any test series against the other teams in top 4.

NZ played a load of home series and produced wickets full of grass while India did the opposite with spin as we have just witnessed.

Atleast India defeated a top team overseas, Nzl did not. ICC need to reconsider formats and have international rather than local curators

A nice two day pitch will be prepared covered in cat litter for the Indian team?

TBH - England we're beaten on spinning and seaming wickets in India.

But keep up the excuses

Don’t panic, the national religion of India is something the nation should be pleased we introduced. Same with the Aussies, without their National game what would the two nations go on about

That is a cricket comment. Keep up.

The National game of India and Aus. Winning at home with home pitch preparation and cat litter. An English summer on green wickets will be great. Anderson bowling round corners.
