So as far as she was concerned Celtic were still going for the 10, quad treble and Rod was happy with his team.

I'm good with that

A lovely thought at the tail of a very hard story.

Sorry for your losses, spr. Hope the families are coping okay.

Aye they are very close knit family.

Although that nice thought above won't stop me giving her brother peters on 55 day after the stuff he has dished out over the years.

Glad they have that closeness though it's nice to see

aye sad to hear that too. It comes to us all though and its about the good memories and influence on people you leave behind. Lots of families will be having covid losses to deal with on top too.

Remember the good times and they are never truly gone

Sorry to hear that SPR. I know you went to visit with the wee one so hopefully there are some happy memories with the baby included.

In other news and to add some perspective, my poor wifes mum and gran died this week. Mum was only diagnosed with cancer mid September.

Tough times.

Her mum was a proud Celtic fan and totally mad for Rod Stewart. Since her craniotomy in September though she wasn't fully aware.

So as far as she was concerned Celtic were still going for the 10, quad treble and Rod was happy with his team.

Sorry to hear that mate.

Hope your missus is coping as best as possible given the situation
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's been a tough 3/4 months but she I doing as well as can be expected.

In these situations there is sometimes a sense of relief too.

Past few evenings me, her and the wee one have been on the couch watching cobra Kai which is actually cheering her up. The little things are the best sometimes
----------------------------------------------------------------------

One thing I learned when my MIL passed was it wasn't the big dates like birthdays, anniversaries etc that are the trigger points for emotion but the trivial day to day things that just spur on a memory whether it is making a dinner and it dawns on her it is how mum did it or things like that.

It's a long road but I have no doubt she'll get there with you and the wee one beside her. My MIL passed when my eldest was just over 1 year old.

The covid restricted funerals are grim, only 20 allowed in,shame when many more would like to pay their respects,no songs at service all masked up,the hardest thing for me was not being allowed to carry my mother or even be a pal bearer due to covid.

Aye it's tough, we aren't taking the wee one she will be staying with one of my parents. That said probably for the best anyway she would have just been noisey all they way through.

We won't be going to her grans funeral so will be online.

Her dad is 1 of 10 siblings so that's half they guest list straight away!

My mum was planted in Eastfield cemetray, they did allow a few more people than attended the service, not allowed at the graveside but at a distance till the family had left and allowed them to pay their respects.

Sorry Stevie....

Lennon must stay.

Aye. You keep telling yourself that.

I knew Rangers would win the league at some point. Ten would have been nice but its not to be.

Personally I'm pleased for a number of bears on here and I'll happily take a ribbing from zach, ath, lauders and a few others. They deserve it.

As for the myopic bigots, I'll not be in the least bit offended by anything. Love to see them making fools of themselves anyway.

So sorry to hear of your sad news spr.

Thoughts are with you and your family. I’m sure you’ll all pull through and whilst there will be moments of sad reflections I can only trust that there will be some smiles in among them too.

To be fair the same could have been said about our board and Gerrard a year ago.

His jacket should have been on the shoogly peg after our erse collapsed after New Year.

For the record i don't care who's alright with taking a slagging and who is not, who is going to cry about the shoe being on the other foot and who is not, who is going to cry obsessed and who is not.

Because you're all getting it until August at the earliest so buckle up

Aye there a few bears who you know have suffered under our domination for the last 10 years.

All I’ve got to say is fwck every one of them. I like many others went through the barren years when they were lording it and waving fivers at games at us.

I hope their enjoyment is a lonely thing as they are cooped up in their sty’s drinking from a warm bottle and humming Penny Arcade while their wives look on at their bloated bodies and can’t disguise the loathing they have for them and secretly packing a case for them and the kids to move back to her parents.

And then next season DD will have chipped in and put us back on top while their club lurches all over the place before disintegrating into financial obscurity and become a distant memory.

Otherwise, I’m perfectly fine with it all
