When are we going to have a chance as good as this again any time soon?

I think the squad is big enough to rest players that need resting in the EL and still take it seriously. Same for the FA cup which I'd fckin love us to win.

It makes total sense to sacrifice the FA Cup, I agree. We need to get this title over the line and being in another competition with even more games is dangerous. Let Liverpool have their day on Sunday, United have bigger fish to fry. No doubt all of their players will perform out of their skins, as it's always their big cup final anyway.

Thankfully, we have a big enough squad now to have a crack at the cups while resting the main team. If we do that and go out, i'll not be crying.
I don't care enough about cups to be risking the majority of the first team, even against Liverpool (and the Europa can be the C team for all I care).

I've changed my mind after last night and think we should go close to full strength v Liverpool on Sunday.
I think the confidence we'd get from winning a big game and the dent in confidence they'd get is worth it.
We can rest a few against Sheff Utd IMO as they seem to have given up the ghost. Our hungry for games squad players should be enough.
I care about the cups if we win them. I do not care about the cups if we are out of them. I care only about the Community Shield.

I think both sides will make changes to be honest, and I think Our second string is capable of beating their second string. Focus should be on the league but would love an FA cup. League and cup double maybe

I think the league is our priority but that doesn't mean we have to ignore the cups.
Liverpool are there for the taking on Sunday and they're most likely to play a weakened side on top of that seeing how little Klopps seems to care about domestic cups.
I think we can still play a strong side and not be worried about our levels against Sheffield United on Wednesday. We just need to play it by ear, if we think that our league form will be drastically effected by cup games then think out resting key players but if not just a bit of rotation might be ok.
