Wow.

Who could possibly have expected Forest to capitulate in such a fashion?........

If CH lasts a huge overhaul is needed. However, whether he is allowed to, is another matter.

Honestly feel League 1 is looming large.

Some outright charlatans on the playing staff.

This has been such a wasted season, aside from the wasted wages and space in this squad to really start to build something, implement a clear vision and a coherent transfer strategy.

There have been 3 worse sides all season and nothing to suggest there won’t be by the end but I’m sock of hearing all the challengers at the top are always “one or two seasons ahead of us”

I wouldn't read too much into that showing by Forest reserves v Swansea reserves.

The result hurts, but the ref handed the game to Swansea with a poor penalty decision when Forest were fighting back strongly at 1-2.

I'd say CH's priorities were to give Freeman some minutes, ditto some squad players, while resting some first teamers. He did that without us picking up further injuries.

You just hope he never picks Figs again.

I can’t stand the term ‘we’re still gelling’

We’ve been bloody gelling down the past 25 years

As mentioned above - some proper charlatans at this club

Also, it’s such short term thinking by the owners also - always looking for a short term fix which has showed it hasn’t worked over the past 25 years - the dealings we did last summer has destroyed any progress that had been made

We never learn - we think cashing in or lack of investment in the right areas won’t be a problem, but it always kills us

Today doesn't count as this was the reserve team with a sprinkling of first choices. McKenna and Worrall is clearly the first choice CB partnership, and you'd hope Soh was first reserve.

Interesting comparison between us and Swansea, as of course they were the team the grabbed our playoff spot on goal difference.

Now they challenge for automatics and are clearly better than us, how did they manage to get it so right since last year and we, well we all know what we are....

Chris: Lads, if we win this we’ve got City in the Cup.

Jenkinson: I was on the bench when we played them at Arsenal.

Lolley: Don’t worry lads, we get paid the same win or lose. FIFA night at mine then?

Well, unfortunately the penalty came at just the right time to give CH an excuse to say we were hard done by, true it was never a penalty, but with ref’s like Friend (what an ironic name), in the middle anything is possible, he must be one of the worse ref’s ever. The truth however is, although that was our best part of the game, we were soundly thumped. I hoped that our precarious position would be eased by the ‘depth’ of our squad, to say the least I am no longer confident with that hope. Today was never going to be pivotal to our season but it could have been a nice distraction, rather than another embarrassment. Our next half dozen games may well define our season, certainly by the time we visit the sheep dip stadium we’ll have a pretty good idea of what lies in store. Barnsley at home followed by trips to Coventry and Wycombe are the next three games on the horizon, we need a minimum of seven points from those games, anything less and I fear we’ll be in the bottom three. Hopefully we can put today’s thumping behind us and reverse our earlier loss to Barnsley, though this certainly won’t be easy. Onward more with hope than expectation I’m afraid. I still think we can stay up but we are going to have to show a lot more fight than recent performances.

The truth of the matter is the players just do not care 1 iota to the fate of this wonderful Club - apart from Wirral, none of the rest have any affinity to NFFC - they get paid bucket loads win lose or draw, and as soon as it became apparent we weren’t going to be promotion contenders this year (after about 3 games), they all just stopped showing any desire whatsoever - it’s an appalling state of affairs - but the realists of the vast majority of the players on our books don’t care 1 but if we are relegated because they’ll be off as soon as the season is done and dusted - it sickens me that these people are paid such sums of money when they show no desire of care form their work - any other line of work and they be disciplined or shown the door

They are still doing badly. They are one place above the relegation zone and are a terrible team.

It was you lot talking about climbing into the playoffs I seem to remember.
You lot sneak two lucky 1-0's and all of a sudden your bleating again.
