Good horror is all about suspense, setting the scene for the inevitable shock to the system.
Playing Resi 7 especially in VR, the quiet moments were some of the most unnerving, because you never knew where the next scare was coming from, and had no way to prepare.
If this is in VR, the experience is taken to another level.
