Its funny Arsenal fans are so bitter about Man Utd rise. When was a clear foul getting lucky by refs. We should have had a penalty midweek as well.

Its not really surprising Arsenal are stuck below mid-table and now out the FA Cup. I think Arsenal were the most negative team to win the FA Cup in its history last season. Even LVG makes Arteta look like anti-football manager. I honestly don’t know how Arteta has made them less creative than Emery side. Arteta is like one of the worst managers in the league tactically. He even makes Mourinho look like an attacking manager.

As great as he was that season he joined a team who had lost the league on goal difference with 89 points and led them to the same points tally after a big drop off from City.

I doubt even peak RVP would have had to same impact as Bruno in this team.

RVP also really only did it for a season, Bruno looks like he will for far longer.

To be fair to RVP he was deadly in that 12/13 season. I heard Rene say that it is rubbish that the side SAF left wasn’t good enough to challenge for the league on the Stretford Paddock. I think to be fair he was right as RVP was still in his last good years and our age of our team was still okay.

I don’t agree.

Lots of averageness in that side that SAF got every last drop from.

Rooney had begun his steep decline also.

Cleverley, Welbeck and Rafael were regulars in that side and look at their career trajectory since.

SAF was a genius.

Big game Fernandes who has already scored or assisted against Liverpool, City, Chelsea, Spurs, Everton, Wolves, Villa, Leicester, PSG, Sevilla and Leipzig.

I know this squad looks on paper much stronger than the last squad that win jt but the players SAF had went to many CL finals and averaged 86.5 points per season for 7 seasons.

SAF was only manager who was good enough to win the league with the team he had in his final season. No other manager could have thats why he is the best.

RVP was wonderful for us in his first season for us.
Don't care what stats say, my eyes tell me he was better than Bruno.
But it was for one season, Bruno who is close behind him hopefully has many seasons.

I'm sorry to keep comparing the two but the difference between Bruno and VdB is so vast. The latter can't play like or give us what the former can.

I know it's been really difficult for Donny to find any sort of form and momentum this season and I have sympathy with him but the more I watch him the more he stands out for the wrong reasons.

He just looks like the odd one out in a team full of attackers who are geared to go for the throat straight away. He's too timid and nowhere near as forceful as the others in comparison.

Bruno comes on and the impact is immediate and sharp.

I still say play VDB on the right. That is the best position he can contribute for us. His great skill is link up in tight spaces.

Yeah a couple of us mentioned this months ago. It's probably the best option at this point because he's not going to get anywhere near enough game time in his best position.

Some people don't consider him to be world class. Such people are jealous.
