It’s incredible isn’t it mate. If you are positive with the club in Jose’s hands you are called a “cultist “, yet these same supporters are desperate for the guy to fail, so they can come on here and say “I told you so”. I mean how ridiculous is that ? How can anyone say “I expected more than a indifferent season” when it hasn’t bloody finished yet. Indifferent as in the performances have been a bit off, but at the moment we are getting the job done. We are in a cup final and in all competitions.

Indeed Don. Even winning a trophy will not stop some from wanting him out. That just goes to highlight their prejudice, which they currently deny exists.
I like you in assessing this season. There's been a lot of good. We're well placed in the league and in the cups still, but we do need to improve.
Some seem fixated on style, but they issue i see is the intensity of our play. When we want to we can really pressurise the opposition. We just don't maintain that intensity. Its like the players get confused by what is controlled play without over committing, and what is defensive passive play where we take no risks. It's a fine balance and we have tended to fall on the defensive passive side when we lead and rely on being highly clinical to see games out.
Jose is a pragmatist so while this prevents us from being gung-ho because it is too high risk, he will also recognise that seeing out a 1-0 lead is also a flawed approach ,full of risk...and if he didnt realise this our results will have taught him so.
I therefore do not believe he instructs us to sit back and defend when 1-0. He wont instruct us to go all out either...finding that balance is the hardest part about football. It has to be a balance that works for the players and where we do not have world class CBs or FBs, our balance is always going to be a certain way. Look how LFC have struggled when the quality of their defenders is reduced and how that has affected their whole form.
I saw signs in the Sheff Utd game that we better understand that the intensity needs to be kept up. It dropped for 10 mins in the 2nd half and we conceded but then we upped it again and really dominated them. This needs to happen more, and this is how i expect us to progress this part of the season.
I have faith we will ...and no better time to start than at home to the Champions.

My point is that I hear constantly on ja606 that it's impossible to enjoy watching Tottenham play! This is overly used. I can personally take something from this counter attack style and the discipline required. And discipline is something that has been missing from the clubs mentality over the years.
Surely there are different ways of playing and tactics that can be used? Not everyone has to follow the Pep G route? There is a time and place for possession football but it hasn't won Tottenham many trophies in the last 30yrs.

To be fair mate, they threw in the towel the moment he was appointed. Haven’t given him the time of day from the get go and now far to stubborn to admit it, if he does end up winning a trophy and getting us top 4. It will be “well the football was awful “ “ the league cup is a nothing trophy “
And you've done the exact opposite - planted your flag in his corner and refused to criticise him. It's always about how the players aren't good enough and the club as a whole is destined to fail.

Until we get rid of the deadwood and give Jose a proper team to compete only then I will be happy. If it takes 2 more windows to do it, then I am prepared to wait. The bonus being all the hankerchief boys will have to sit through another season of King Jose.
I know you will say Kane might leave. If thats the case feck him too. Won f all with him anyway. If Dele wants to go PSG he is pu55y and has no fight. Compare his attitude to Ndombele and it tells you everything you need to know about him.

To be honest Don. I don't care if we anything. Great IF we do. CL football is more important to me for next season. Until we get rid of the deadwood and give Jose a proper team to compete only then I will be happy. If it takes 2 more windows to do it, then I am prepared to wait. The bonus being all the hankerchief boys will have to sit through another season of King Jose.
I know you will say Kane might leave. If thats the case feck him too. Won f all with him anyway. If Dele wants to go PSG he is pu55y and has no fight. Compare his attitude to Ndombele and it tells you everything you need to know about him.

I am no gatekeeper and wouldn't ever dream of forcing my opinion on someone. It's up to the individual how they perceive entertainment.
My point is that I hear constantly on ja606 that it's impossible to enjoy watching Tottenham play! This is overly used. I can personally take something from this counter attack style and the discipline required. And discipline is something that has been missing from the clubs mentality over the years.
Surely there are different ways of playing and tactics that can be used? Not everyone has to follow the Pep G route? There is a time and place for possession football but it hasn't won Tottenham many trophies in the last 30yrs.

Sounds like you're getting prepared in case he doesn't win anything this season....."I don't care if we win anything".
If we lose the Cup final and don't win anything else that'll be a poor return from Jose, even if we get top 4. That'll be almost 2 seasons with him and still potless, despite the fact you have been telling us he brings us trophies.
