I'm gonna be faced off if he joins a rival club.
no chance of getting in a worthwhile replacement, Dele is great and wants to go understandable as hes not playing so let him finish the season on loan somewhere playing football.
we would just get in a panic loan like Gedson last Jan, and they wouldnt play like Dele doesnt anyway or be a big downgrade.

psg the only contenders
all the simpletons will scream for Sabitizer when no chance he leaves this Jan has been said by multiple sources and why would they not wait till the summer to sell him. Everyone ignores we have too many non homegrown players and not enough HG ones.
absolutely getting shat on by the fact no cant will sign Lamela, Lucas or Sanchez especially.
Yeah I don't get why we need a replacement for someone who doesn't play. It doesn't make sense.
Just let him go - it's becoming a bit sad now.

Thankfully looks like Lingard is going to West Ham...... Good miss
A loan makes sense to me. The impact of COVID combined with a run of poor form and then not playing at all means Dele's value is probably at an all time low. If he goes on low and plays regularly, and plays well - his stock increases. We can then either bring him back and involve him, or sell him for a more reasonable value.
It depends on the replacement. We could bring someone in that Jose likes the look of and then we get more use out of him than we were out of Dele. That is probably the best outcome now rather than keep an unhappy player who is unwanted by his manager, who hardly plays.

Can’t figure out what Spurs are trying to achieve here. If ever there was a club to get a big fee from in this environment, its PSG
------------------------------------------------------------------------
They can't spend money due to FFP.
There are plenty I want out of Spurs before Dele..... Lamela, Moura & sanchez to name a few. GLC is starting to annoy me now.., starting to look like Lamela mk2. Looks good against a pub team in the EL and then misses 3 months. Frustrating that that we never went hard after Bruno as we seemed so obsessed with this guy
I'm ok with him going to PSG for the remainder of the season, if he isn't gonna get a game for us then he might as well give it a go over there.
If he does well then he comes back in better form and ready to roll for next season or presumably we sell him for alot of money.
If he does badly then we sell him for alot less money but at least he's off the payroll.
Its a sad state of affairs but like alot of players who were underperforming at the end of the Poch era he just doesn't seem to be the player he was.
I can’t figure out how a loan helps Spurs, him playing & winning everything in France proves nothing, its a soft league and not really the kinda place for Dele to prove anything to those who doubt his quality/ effort to play PL football.
--------
we would be foolish to ever sell him inside the prem so hopefully this is a redundant point
also, we should 100% keep Dele or sell him abroad. what is the point of a loan? there will sooner or later be some kind of injury crisis at spurs with the fixture pile up, and we will need bodies, and bodies who can produce and score goals. like Dele. if it were up to me he would be going absolutely nowhere this January unless a bid far above his current market value (which i reckon is about 25-30mill) came in from overseas.
GLC cant stay fit, Lucas and Lamela don't score. and Lamela is barely fit anyway. Kane and Son will inevitably sooner or later burn out. Bale is an enigma but we cant rely on him for goals in the tough games, Bergwijn doesn't score, and we cant expect NDombele to score game in game out.
keep Dele, and facking use him Jose.

Yeah, funny how so many were critical of Dele when he was playing and now theyre being critical of us loaning him out .
Given the NDombele situation, i think we have to have some faith in how these players are being treated and why Dele is not getting any playing time.

im more concerned about lack of bodies as the fixture pile up takes its toll.... also have the HG issue.
others need to be out the door first. usual suspects have been named above
lamela lucas sanchez etc
Lets face it he'll never have a better chance to recapture his form than playing for the dominant team in an average league.
It could be just what he needs.
So desperate to get Dele out the club that we'll loan him but happy to have Lucas and lamela still getting minutes
Reckon we'll replace him with Olise
How close are we to finding a replacement?
My guess is that Levy is holding out for a loan fee for Dele. It would be the deal of his dreams if he could get back the £5m he paid for Dele by loaning him out. PSG also paying 100% of his wages of course.

The treatment of Dele has been disgusting, maybe all those stupid dropped points from late equalizers would not have happened with Dele in the team.
Dele is far more productive in the attacking third than some of the dross being picked ahead of him, and maybe in those drawn games Dele would have contributed to another goal to kill the games off.
