One place and 3 points above Rotherham who have 2 games in hand, that’s all that’s keeping us out of the bottom 3. Lack of goals is killing us.

I cannot believe I am Saying this or can believe we are actually we we are - but this team is getting relegated

I think we’ll be ok Rev. Hughton will get us over the line and next season we’ll be much better. He took a while to get Brighton going and he’s dealing with some players who have completely lost confidence and motivation

Worst we have played since Bournemouth tanked us. But they are a good side. You are awful.

Not pretty, but a very good point.

Fair do's, Bong and Figs had good games; Bachirou looked fine when he came on. But we lacked a killer instinct when we got near ther goal

Don’t agree - that’s just blind optimism

There is no evidence whatsoever that we have the balls or desire to fight our way out of this - we are crap

It’s not blind. And given you don’t watch any games that’s a bit rich! We are crap but we have the quality and know how to get out of it

Bournemouth who got hammered by Reading? You can’t be much better given the result today

How can you bring in 14 players, only to make the team worse and yet Vrentzos & Marinakis don't utter a beep?

Afraid to say I am with the Rev on this one. CH is cutting his own throat, he won’t make changes, Taylor nor Freeman came on today, we had one tame header on target all game, we now haven’t scored against Barnsley in the last four games. We are have not moved forward from Sabri leaving. I can’t see where our next goal is coming from never mind win. We have lost one in eight and have actually gone backwards in the table. Yes I’m feeling negative but if we lose to Coventry or Wycombe I think we’ll capitulate altogether. Unfortunately we are now stuck with what we have, but I’m not sure it’s enough.

What’s rich about it - I’m basing my opinion (and that is all it is) on the result and performances - not on the names of players we have on our books and their past reputations

Let’s see at the end of the season

To quote yourself ....’we are crap, but we have the quality....’

Make your mind up

Fact is, we’re crap, end of

How do you know performances are bad if you don’t watch games?

We’ve lost one league game in the past 8 games so what are you basing things on?

Yes we are crap at the moment but we can still have quality players. Has Joe Lolley suddenly become crap? The manager needs to do better and I believe he will. And that’s based on his track record.

We have some quality individuals, but we still don’t have a team, the midfield has lacked creativity, though Krovinivic looked good today, don’t understand why Freeman didn’t get at least 20 minutes. I don’t understand CH’s reluctance to change things. We had 3 good chances in the first half today, all on the counter, none really created through midfield. Yes we’ve lost one on eight, but realistically we’ve only had a couple of good performances. Goals win games, draws in our position aren’t going to be enough. Even with Colback and Yates in midfield we only have defensive players. I like CH, but his tactics and team selections are a bit too negative.

What - are you serious?

What am I basing things on? I’m basing my opinion of results and the performances - we may have only lost 1 in the league in the past 8 - how convenient you picked 8, is that because we lost the previous 3 before that?

I haven’t the desire or time to waste pointing out just how rubbish we are and how inept the vast majority of players we have in our books

The results speak for themselves - or position in the league speaks for itself - if you think that’s quality, then perhaps you better invest in a dictionary and look up what that word means

You look at a team like Brentford who work on a shoestring budget compared to what we spend, they sell 2 of their best players, yet year after year the perform and produce quality - it’s an embarrassment to think how much we’ve spent and wasted on total crap

posted on 30/1/21

Yeah I’m serious. Those two games do actually count as results you know Rev

Brentford are not on a bloody shoestring. How much do you think they paid for Toney? Do some research before you come out with ridiculous statements.

We have to seriously question our recruitment policy, we’ve signed 73 players in 3and a half years, that is a crazy stat, what I’d like to know is how many of those have made more than 25 appearances?? My guess is not too many. It now looks like we are bringing in another midfielder, on loan at Watford from Man U, and possibly a 37 year old forward from Brighton, that’ll be 75 players through the door in 3 and a half years.

posted on 30/1/21

The recruitment policy is diabolical and embarrassing.

Poor again today, but a couple of silver linings - Krovinovic and Bachirou both looked good.

Clean sheet against a big, organised side who outplayed us is not to be sniffed at. But we need to start putting it together soon. Still a bunch of individuals.
