Still don’t reckon Leicester will be top 4. Today is an example why.

Liverpool win today, and it's a big if looking at the team tbh, a bit of space opening up between 4th and 5th.

It’s very hard when you have to scrape past most of the other teams in the league as well. You can settle to play more cagey games against better sides, and if playing well you’ll likely pick up more points than we have, if you can put together good, consistent performances against everyone else. But we haven’t been playing well this season, as we just aren’t a very good team.

We are a very poorly coached team in all aspects other than having some fight to come back from being behind.

The defensive aspect of it being the worst.

I agree. Though I’d say it’s the attacking aspect that’s the worst. But that we even have to debate which is worse is a massive problem.

Missed the first ten mins, but the last 30 mins of the West Ham vs Liverpool game has made ours yesterday look like an action-packed adventurefest.

Not remotely buying into this narrative that our football is significantly worse than most of the other teams in the league.

.....

Me neither to be honest. If our strikers were on any kind of form this season we would have comfortably won a lot of games.

Seem to remember a season under Sir Alex where we lost most of the big games and won the title by trashing everyone else.

Anyone thinking about the title this season, really needs to calm down. We are not a title winning team.

There are a few things that need addressing before we get there and one of them is football intelligence.

Our team lacks it
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Of the starters and usual subs only Bruno, Beekers, Cavani and Pogba have it. That is a really low number. Greenwood possibly. Too early to tell with him.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Indeed.

The team does not know what to do when it needs to win.

2011 we won the title having a shocking away record but near perfect home record. Think it was only one draw at Old Trafford, the rest wins.

Yes, that was the season
