As much as it was a ridiculous clownlike collapse of a defeat like we've unfortunately gotten far too used to in recent years, it doesn't necessarily mean pantomime season is back in full force - there's no reason why we can't bounce back against Villa so long as we have Matt Ryan back from injury.
Having said that I do worry that the defence may lose a bit of confidence without Leno behind them in the next few games and they will need to make every effort to limit how much Ryan is tested - or heaven forbid the non-league standard 3rd choice GK we have (I refuse to actually learn the spelling of his name as that would be wasted memory cells and I'm not going to waste time Googling it right now either).
Gabriel looked good coming into a pressurised situation too and hopefully Tierney will be back.

Tbh it was an outstanding 1st half bar that 30 seconds of madness.
Xhaka/Partey were immense in the middle.
Should have been min - 3 up before that debacle happened.
