He had a pretty quick rise in his early coaching career, then took a massive step up to Liverpool. Celtic was a reputation building exercise which landed him a job with a lot of potential in the prem. There’s not really any evidence that he’d jump for a slightly better opportunity based on his history. But I do agree Spurs is a job with a lot of potential for him. They’d offer him job security, providing it doesn’t go to shiiiiit like it has with Mourinho.

Things were going reasonably well until City were gifted a penalty, if you look closely, Gundogan fouls Hojberg first, how VAR failed to spot it is sheer incompetence. There is a video doing the rounds somewhere and Tim Sherwood spotted it straight away. Once again, shafted by the officials.

So which manager is going to get THAT defence sorted out?
Going to make Winks or Sisokko able to take a load off PEH?

I get Jose want going to revolutionise the way we play. But if he can’t get that lot tightened up and more cut throat, who will.

It’s going to take 2 or 3 years because we will not invest - history tells us. Look at Bale - what would you have rather had in the summer, a top CB, RB or Bale?

I guess Jose has to go because he won’t be about in a year anyway. But I’m telling you the rot is deep and it starts at the top.

Exactly. A lot of these defenders have been playing regularly for us getting top 4 over the last few years.

All are average premier league level at worst. Then we have an awful lot of attacking and midfield talent that should be utilised to the defence aren't under constant pressure.

You need to stick with Moureen he's doing a fantastic job at a small club!!!

We concede more goals than you. But we’ll finish above you because we are scoring goals more regularly. You don’t need an amazing defence to get top four.

Winning the league is a different matter, but Spurs aren’t a club with those kind of expectations so it’s not as big an issue.

I'll take Allegri

I actually said Allegri and Mourinho when Poch got the boot. I clearly got Mourinho wrong if you are judging our form right now, but twice lucky ? Allegri language barrier worries me a bit, but he’s a superb tactician. He completely schooled our Pochettino that year in the CL.

Surely we know he won't get sacked, can imagine the next move will be, bleating that the players he has are not good enough

I agree. Defence is appalling and that's not helpful. But we are also clueless in attack. We miss Eriksen (when he could be bothered) linking it all together.

And we miss a manager who actually has an attacking plan, obviously.
