Sad news, Doug Mountjoy has died, I remember him famously beating Hendry to win the 1988 UK title, I've recently been watching that on YouTube

Sad news about Doug Mountjoy. Those who grew up during the snooker boom of the 80s will remember him as one of the stars - his performance in the 88 UK championship was truly remarkable. RIP
I just said I remembered him at the UK in 88, he said that Doug played great snooker that year 👍
Looks like Eurosport coverage not starting till 13:30 today due to the Tennis Australian Open so morning session of snooker is only available on Eurosport player which I don't have.
