You’re 2nd in the league noncechops
Not better just arrogant
It wouldn’t have been mctominay and Fred if Pogba wasn’t injured.
Ole needs to take a haiku
Sounds like the OP is very ill.
Fred and Mct against a team that plays so defensively was silly

I've always been in support of Ole but recently thinking he's not the man to take us to the next level!
Bottled it against the two worst teams. Our defence is not good enough and everyone can see that but him!
Not defending the OP but he's not wrong.
Ole's status within the club and managerial inexperience at this level is certainly giving him a free pass to be average.

Same difference
I’m sick of Maguire and the rest after a poor result, saying we played great, better side, will keep going and move onto the next.
I can’t remember a time we lost when we were unlucky. Every defeat we have we’re god damn awful.
Again today we were abysmal.
Everton we threw it away with awful defending.
Arsenal away - toothless.
Liverpool away - too cautious and not clinical.
Sheff Utd - all of the above
If the players can’t see how bad they play sometimes, we’ve got no chance
I’m sick of watching Brighton play better football than we do.

As I was saying on the live thread, the bar of what qualifies as an acceptable performance level at United seems to be very low, based on comments from the likes of Ole and Maguire. Concerning

Agreed. I’ve just naively told myself that Ole doesn’t want to criticise in public but must be going nuts at them in the dressing room. Now I’m not so sure.
So many of them know they will keep their place however badly they play
De Gea didn’t make a single save in the game and we actually allowed 0 shots on target against us as the 1st goal was illegal, the save in the 1st half was already going over the bar and the 2nd save was illegal according to Maguire the ref would have given it a foul.
Sheffield United game they had 1 shot on target and scored 1 goal. The other 2 were illegal as one was miles offside and another a clear foul.

They haven’t got anyone to put the ball in the net. They’d be competing with City if they had Bruno, Rashford and Cavani.
Their performances are genuinely better, and more consistent, than ours have been. It’s just not reflected in the scoreline for the reason I’ve given.
