He's just a good player that will more than compensate Wij leaving in the summer.

The games have looked a bit quick for him so far yes but he's playing alongside a 19 year old, is in a new league, has had covid, got smashed and was out three months and has come into a struggling side.

He's a quality player but, at present, I can't help thinking if you swapped Fred and Thiago they'd both suit their new clubs better.

The Thiago we have is Fred with a slightly more forward pass. Both cant shoot while Fred can still do the defensive work.

We needed Thiago in midfield but this only works if we had our first choice defence.

No it doesn't. Thiago is good at pressing also and in fact one of the best at it for Bayern. You're making things up now.
The team aren't doing well but over the past load of weeks this has been the fault of one individual for some reason. There's a host of players not performing. Even the dependable goalkeeper went to crap for two games. Mane has been in a mood for months and the front three aren't playing off each other. Our pressing is still there and still really good. Our goalscoring isn't and of course the defence changing every week doesn't help.
It’s okay, that new CB from Germany can do it. Just took a single long ball from KO to ruin any confidence he may have had.
That’s how you beat the high press.

No it doesn't. Thiago is good at pressing also and in fact one of the best at it for Bayern. You're making things up now.
