So sad. Had a close family member who suffered badly from dementia before they sadly passed on. It's the worst honestly.
Sad news.
My nan is suffering from it. She is a brave age but it's still facking horrible.
There's a documentary on Sir Alex launching on Amazon in a few months where he goes to say how scared he was of getting this illness after his operation. Look forward to watching it.
This disease is tragic, its horrible for anyone to get it but its very poignant when you remember the absolute unit Gordon was and now being so reduced.

I reckon he was one of the best in Europe around 1978... he'd have helped you in Argentina, that's for sure
Another one for the heading a ball debate
Horrible disease. I lost an aunt to it, and all the signs are the that the onset of it is with my father too. Terrible for the individual, but also hits the family members hard when they forget things.
Wish Gordon well, and hope he doesn’t suffer too much with it
My dad died of complications due to him having Alzheimer's disease.
It was the worst thing imaginable watching him deteriorate. And he would get violent with his carers, which is why when he contracted cancer the medics could/would not treat him. One told us once that they would have to dart him first to get him under control. So he actually died of terminal, untreated cancer.
I wouldn't wish this condition it on anybody. It really is the worst thing that can happen to you.
As for Gordon McQueen, Gorgon McQueen, Gordon.... Those who can remember him play (no pun intended) it was those trade mark runs of his with the ball, straight up the pitch to the edge of their box that made him the United legend he still is.

Sad mate. Understand why you lost your chit yesterday at someone poking fun at the root cause.
