What a frustrating game! Why does our player get a yellow card for being elbowed (Hernandez)??? and by Targett who should have been sent off as he made so many fouls after he’d been yellow carded. He pulled Bamford down in the penalty area when we were taking a corner kick at the end. Why was that not a penalty??
What a team of divers Villa are! All the replays showed our players had literally just touched them, not pushed or shoved, just touched and the Villa players were down on the floor and getting a free kick. I think their name “villains” is quite apt. Anyway, on to the next game when I hope Kalvin will be back and hopefully we can do better than today.

You weren’t bragging like this last season at this point. You stayed up by the skin of your teeth. We probably will buy decent players in the summer, but our lads have performed admirably this season because it has been down to our championship players, due to injuries to 3 out of the 4 signings we made pre-season.

You weren’t bragging like this last season at this point. You stayed up by the skin of your teeth. We probably will buy decent players in the summer, but our lads have performed admirably this season because it has been down to our championship players, due to injuries to 3 out of the 4 signings we made pre-season.

Totally agree. Nearly all promoted teams have problems bridging the gap to the PL. Last season we tried to solve it by buying better players and it took the season for them to get going; we were nearly relegated but if we hadn't bought them we would have been relegated. This season the same now more experienced players plus a few good signings have improved us a lot.
I think you're doing well for a promoted team. But like us you need better players to progress.

I know its been mentioned lots of times around here that our team is apart from 4 newbies a Champinoship team, so, 2 places in front of us, how good is your team as far as Premier League teams go?..
We'll be alright and we'll have new players this time next season, but have to admit an x-Bielsa player for you's was great last night!..
