A lot of people are blaming VAR when it is down to the standard of the referees. Sorry, but when they're making baffling decisions despite video evidence, then you should know it's down to the person. Many seem to bottle decisions because of what people might say in the media.

We are not close to City because we are not up to requirements. Simple as. The ref had nothing to do with Tuanzebe stupid foul last minute and our captain playing everyone on side that led to Everton last minute goal.
As a team we have improved no doubt and credit goes to the manager. We have however bottled challenging for the title here... coming 2nd would seem like the season we came second under Mourinho. 2nd for the sake of it but never title challengers.

Sense at last. United, City, Liverpool, Real Barça ... we all get plenty of penalties that are dubious so it's just annoying when our fans go on about being robbed ... at the moment, United, Arsenal, Barça and Real are not good enough. We don't attack enough, we don't play well enough. We can't blame everybody else,
