I think Fofana may be brought in tomorrow
Castagne—-Fofana——Soyunchu—-Thomas
—————-—Choudhury—-Ndidi
Ricardo————Tielemans————Albrighton
————————-Vardy
I think you are right about a dog fight - we are flying blind on fumes. Just got to stick together and embrace it
I think that would be more Choudhury/ Ndidi deeper and a 4141
Don’t mind that KTF if (big if) Fofana is fit. However two concerns are the fitness of Vardy and Tielemans ability to play as a 10.
No! Whatever the answer is supposed to be, it's not going to be found in playing 2 DMs. If we are struggling for Midfielders, then having Mendy playing further forward might work.
Mersey, I agree with regard to both Tielemans and Vardy but, respectively speaking, I can’t see any other player who quality who we could put in and I think Rodgers has pretty much confirmed that Vardy is playing.
Nuneaton, at this stage I don’t think we can be picky with tactics and formations unfortunately
I’d pick Choudhury for 2 reasons:
1 I don’t want to risk Mendy in case Ndidi is injured at any point
2 Whether tactical direction or because he’s a footballing Labrador, Choudhury is more mobile and roaming than Mendy. I think if we played Ndidi and Mendy we’d end up being more defensive
I think we should just rest everyone. Except CS and JV.
Catch them on the break, smash and grab 1-0
My team would be
Schmeichel
Vardy
Novel Cheesy. Who is going to head away their corners?... oh wait, nobody does that anyway!
The other problem with that is we’d still play out from the back!
This reminds me of a joke that was doing the rounds back in the day.
City are playing F****t away and we're 10 nil up at half time. O'Neill says in the dressing room, we've won this easily lads, I'm taking you all off so you can rest, apart from Lennon. Lenny, you're out there on your own.
Yes boss, says Lennon, and MON and the rest of the squad retire to the players lounge for the rest of the game.
At full time, Lennon walks into the players lounge and MON says, how did we get on? Lennon says, well we won, but it was tight - 10-8.
What??? says O'Neill. What the hell happened?
Well boss, says Lennon, I got sent off ten mins into the second half...
Classic retro joke that STS 😂
Isn’t Tavares worth a start with in midfield rather than 2 defensive mids?

No True Blue, instead of a second defensive midfielder or Iheanacho! And by the way, check the entries on the Prediction League post - you've missed the last one off.
Thanks Warwick, just giving the others a chance
Lol True.
Tavares is clearly a huge talent but lots of noise around him that he’s set his sights away from Leicester. I’m confused as to why he’s not been given more game time under Rodgers if that’s not the case seeing is he’s a talented midfielder that can play wide or narrow?
Seems to be some media noise now suggesting he’s got an opportunity to stay.

We create nothing with 2 defensive midfielders playing so anything but that please. Think we need to go out to get full points from the next 3 games and hope players come back after the international break
Kasper
Ricardo
Amartey
Soyuncu
Fuchs
Castagne
Ndidi
Tielemans
Albrighton
Iheanacho
Vardy
5-3-2 with wingbacks giving the width. Albrighton playing on the right side of a midfield 3. Two up top as it worked well against Burnley before until we stopped doing it for some strange reason. Stop their big forwards and put pressure on their back line. If we’re getting overwhelmed on the wings then Albrighton switches to left, Ricardo moves forward and Iheanacho drops so you transition to a 4-5-1 with no subs required. Something Rodgers seems keen on.
