I need to get one of those

Great investment but not sure how long you have to wait now. Can’t be long surely?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My sons Brother in law had one at xmas, think it was Morretti
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Eh? I haven’t see the Morretti one.

I bought half a dozen when I got the thing. Bit of a mixed bag as it were but included two kegs of Corona. Quite nice as it turns out. Got Stella in just now but I fancy trying that Kwak which today seems maybe appropriate for me.

Morretti will be getting ordered the second I see it.

TBH we get less scarfy posting on an Old Firm game thread than this.

Nobody's been changed or persuaded which is why I usually avoid

political threads. Having said that I'm gonna start one and hope Zach

posts on it.

<No.. why don't they actually get the people who were at the meetings in to give testimony.>

If all the evidence was released nae kvnt would need to turn up.

Including Aberdein.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It was agreed prior to the committee sitting that evidence could and probably would be retracted in some cases. All parties agreed to that stipulation, given the potential legal repurcussions (contempt of court) and some material being of a sensitive nature (contains confidential info).

If the committee really want to know what Aberdein said to whom, and when it was said.. if it was said at all.. they should get him in to testify. Instead of asking other people who aren't privvy to the information.. as they did countless times today despite Strugeon repeatedly saying she didn't have the information the committee wished to seek.

Today was an attempted showtrial by the Tory/Labour/Lib Dem elements of the committee to pin something, just anything on Strugeon.. and in the process completely ignored their scope. Ignored her answers trying to pursue a line of questioning that is based on a conspiracy theory.

Well it shouldn't have been imo.

All of the levers & pulleys in this whole fiasco have been pulled by

SNP appointed officials.

Showtrial my rse.

That's for the Hitler & Stalin regimes.

Scotland is a forward thinking & robust democarcy.

Salmond had to be examined.

Sturgeon had to be examined.

They both got aff wi it so be happy.

how can you corroborate something you weren't present at?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

One was present mate.

Look there’s not much point in going on about it. People have made their minds up and are more than happy to take her word for everything so I’ll leave it that the country is run by the most forgetful and incompetent set of a collaborative cabal ever.

Just sit back and let them run it further into the ground. They’ve made a great job of it so far
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They were not.Their evidence is that someone who was present told them it.
That "proves" they passed on what they heard about the meeting, not at it.
Were I a defendant i'd expect my lawyer to challenge that
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well yes a lawyer would challenge it. And no, nothing has been definitively proven.

People are free to believe what they want. I’m comfortable with my belief. She’s a liar.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Name me a single politician who isn't a liar 😂

If lying was truly a sackable offence, Rishi Sunak would be packing his bags as we speak given he lied during the Budget today 🤷‍♂️

----------------------------------------------------------------------
She wasn't examined though.. she was literally asked the same couple of questions for 7 hours. The questions never changed no matter the evidence or answers she provided. There was no interest by the committee to get to the bottom of all this.. they just kept up with the same line of questioning in the hope she'd slip up and say something they could jump on.

Looking for a smoking gun that doesn't exist 😂

The ten unrelated women who brought 13 charges may reconsider.

I see Sturgeon apologised to 2 of them her #Mee tooWummin thing.<boak>

Salmond was acquitted so why is she saying sorry to women who brought

false charges against her Mentor?
