Thanks MU52. Yes Ynys Mon is truly a beautiful part of the country. Not a patch on my home town of course which 'roofed the world'.

“ I've always loved Wales especially Ynys Mon where I spent my childhood holidays.”

I don’t share you sentiment on the Welsh, I’ve been to Ceinws and Machynlleth a few times as my brother in law runs a business there and I found them quite fecking ignorant, one of the times was just after April Jones was murdered and I put some of it down to that, however I’ve been since and they’re no better and don’t get me started on the feckers in Bala!

Might just be you, RED666, we've been on holiday to the gower, criccieth, tywyn, anglesey, st davids, fishguard and abersoch and I've always found Welsh people warm and welcoming. Abersoch was the worst because it's just full of Cheshire twaats in 4x4s

We holidayed in a tiny place called Llandonna. It was high-is with a road down to the beach, called Shore Road.
Halfway down as Evqns's farm where we stayed.
No electricity, gas, running water or mains drainage.
When I woke up it was a tiny bedroom, when I looked out of the window Red Wharf bay was stretching out in front of me, I could see as far as Benllech. There were always 2 or 3 silver fish on the wall which I thought of as friends.
I have many happy memories of those times.

Love Red Wharf bay. A guy I work with's dad used to have the shop next to the pub there. No idea why, there's no Welsh in his family
