Against Everton, Maguire dropped deep for their free kick and we conceded. Immediately, Sky do a whole segment on it tearing into our captain.
Against Wolves, for City tonight, Dias does the exact same thing but it isn’t pulled up and Dias or City aren’t slated.

I read that it was a billion and a half.
I think that adding Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe, Maradona Pele, Puskas, Jair, Bobby Moore and Gordon Banks in the January window may have helped us climb the table. All of them for only 2 billion too.
And for only another £80m we could have added Maguire to the team, what a buy that would have been. Looks like we will have to make do with Dias.
Our £1tn defence has been the backbone of our progress.
Just need the £80m Maguire to complete the team then. Should be well worth that kind of money.
They bought slabhead we bought Rodri. Rodri has been brilliant this year anchoring the midfield. I also reckon he’d be a better centre half than McGuire if he was coached to play in that position.
Culer is quiet today, perhaps he is having his much threatened 'break'. Must be exhausting for the poor dear thinking up so much s**te to explain another turgid performance by the Trafford mob.

That 'fresh perspective' will be that you're still 11 points behind with 10 to play.
On the other hand, and more likely, you'll be either 17 or 14 points behind with 10 to play.

Maguire would look better than Stones does if he was at City. Your team rarely have to defend due to the possession game you play. Stones isn't better than Maguire he just plays in a system best suited to him with a world class partner. If Maguire had a top CB next to him he'd be world class.
