Depends on the reason for people moaning. I know plenty of United fans that aren’t particularly happy for entirely valid reasons that would still exist if they were a few points closer to us or a few places down the table.

But I like you (you won't admit it because you're a caaant) watch footy to gain enjoyment, to escape from reality and to dream, to idolise my heroes.
No one wants negativity but this current Utd side - in performance terms - irks me so much, it'ss painful viewing.
Ole has united the dressing room but has divided the fanbase in terms of what we want to see. Yes, post SAF it's been a tumultuous journey, there has been some dire footy at times and some exhilarating stuff too, I want more of the latter. Tonight was dire, dull, turgid, it's there in most matches but we've almost managed to switch it on to grab a win in the second half. We rarely convince over 90 minutes.
Of late it looks like we've tightened up at both ends to the detriment of our creativity and goals. It could be fatigue but it certainly is due to incoherent football, lacking balance in almost every area.

Have to say,other than SAF,United's choice of managers over the past half a century has been unremarkable to say the least.
But moaning because your manager has you second in the league when arguably there are 3 clubs with better squads is pretty poor.

Depends on the reason for people moaning. I know plenty of United fans that aren’t particularly happy for entirely valid reasons that would still exist if they were a few points closer to us or a few places down the table.

Results are better, 2nd in table is progress

But isn't really progress, is it?
We finished second in 17-18, and got further in the champions league.
The only reason we are currently second is because Liverpool lost their central defence.
That isn't progress because of Ole good management, that is fortunate that a better team lost their 3 first choice centre backs.

On the whole it's not great
Can't believe almost a decade on and we're no way closer to winning the league

We had more points at this stage in Mourinho’s first two seasons than we have this season. I don’t know how people have convinced themselves the results are any better.
