FFS - Life expectancy for your average male in Scotland is the lowest in Western Europe.

It is absolutely embarrassing.

Further - what is happening with the circa £1bn she has stashed away - why is this not being spent?

Watch as there's radio silence from the same Tories calling for Sturgeon's head for "wasting taxpayers money" and breaking the Ministerial Code.

Patel last week broke it for a third time by lying to Parliament (again).
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you think they both should resign then assuming guilt is confirmed in Scotland ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If guilt is confirmed, aye.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hence why I said assuming it is
If its not then obviously no she doesn't
But if it is ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye, I can't say it more explicitly than I did before 😂

Conspiracy theories are fun.

I mean, I'm sure she's sitting on tax payers money, in an election year, rather than spend it in a way that would help her win more votes.

That just makes total sense, doesn't it? That's exactly what politicians do in election years, isn't it?

Honest to God man....
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nice sarcasm.

How about she starts showing us what exactly it is being spent on.

That always helps to convince voters.

All of these conspiracy theories being pushed by Unionists are quite hilarious.. well they would be if the daft basturds didn't swallow them.

At least when I was in the No camp in 2014 it was based on facts and genuine concerns.

Now it's become a cesspit for loons.

Think of all the extra clunge you could have over that period of time though. Taking them back to your bedsit, having a wee peroni with them, uhm, that’s about it...

Perhaps when the FM (hopefully for not much longer) actually concentrates on running the country as opposed to trying to create her 'legacy' as the one who secured 'Independence' - we might see a better Scotland.

Until then - her legacy will be that of a big swathe of the population being poorly educated, in bad health, no doubt dependent on processed food and living in abject poverty while dodging junkies trying to rob them of whatever belongings they have.

Bravo, Nicola, bravo.

But you got us independence from 'Westmonster'.

Embarrassing.

It would be better if a just and civilised society treated all of it's politicians fairly.

The difference in the Media's treatment of the UK Government and the Scottish Government is the most embarrassing aspect.

The BBC should be shut down.

p.s I don't care who lied, who cheated or who broke the ministerial code, get them sacked.

If proven Sturgeon broke the code, or misappropriated public funds, she should resign, just like Boris, Patel, Alastair Jack, Matt Cummings, Chris Grayling, Harding...

👍👍 At the very least it smacks of hypocritical double standards. Sturgeon was pronounced 'guilty', by Douglas Ross, and some on here, even before her appearance before the Committee.
However, a strange calm around the whole issue appears to have descended since her appearance. I wonder if the Tories will continue with the 'vote of no confidence' now?

Nothing will change as a result of any of this. Sturgeon and her party I’ve created a singular body which covers everything from the political, legal and communication strategy to the entire country who in turn have adopted an “Anything but Westminster” policy where serious and damning reports are hidden or delayed, worsening statistics and hugely embarrassing financial failures are merely brushed aside or swept under the carpet.

There is no scrutinisation accepted and is instead met with a mere shrug of the shoulders in a “how dare you question me” approach. 50 times she stated she dosing know, couldn’t confirm; forgot or didn’t recollect in her obfuscation the other day. 50 times that is.

Scotland is run like a banana republic without the bananas and is allowing the government to sleep walk them into an even more parlours state. Without anyone taking a seat and thinking as to where it is going, why and revisiting the cost and erosion caused over the last 15 years under an SNP led government.

Despite asking on numerous occasions what anyone wants the answer is simply “Not Westminster”.

Doesn’t matter really. Her party will win the election although a majority is no longer such a certainty. Hopefully they don’t get a majority and the other party’s start to really scrutinise their record.

And yes Sturgeon is holding back money for businesses that was handed over by Westminster.

Pleading poverty while acting like Oliver Twist and biting the hand that feeds as it is determined to get away on its own with no other plan than to rejoin the EU.

You can only stand back and applaud that.

It’s all mainly circumstantial so far but still with a lot of evidence redacted and/or missing despite being in the public domain. Truly farcical.

Her version of the truth stretches any belief to the realms of fairy tale thinking and Salmond’s huge conspiracy theory is equally as far fetched.

As far as I can see.

The same questions were asked over and over-it was more just accusations than anything evidential. Some of the committee-and on here-were screaming about corroboration before learning that it was hearsay rather than corroboration.

The standard of questioning skills from the committee was appalling though.

She is not holding back money.

All the money that has been "allocated" to Scotland has not been disbursed. That is correct.

However that money has not all been delivered by WM yet. Almost 90% of that money has been disbursed within 4 weeks of receipt.
