Amazing how many selfish people there are. Two on here have quite clearly shown that they will only do what suits them and not others.s

I’m not sure I’d always call it selfishness, but I think there is a certain kind of parochialism that this pandemic has revealed in people. If you don’t get the illness and aren’t likely to die even if you do, it can be hard to see why your life has had to change so much because of it. But you have to be able to see that even small percentages are very, very big numbers when they are percentages of populations; you have to be able to see things on a societal, even a national, level rather than an individual one. If you think it’s just about looking after yourself, you’re bound to think the response has been exaggerated or even too buy into conspiracies.

Fix the potholes. Don't try and improve things on a grander scale, just fix the potholes. Small mindedness. That's over 50% of the population

Did Ebeneezer fill your pothole?

Had my first jab ( Pfizer ) on 18th Feb. No side effects, just a sore arm for a couple of days. Wife had hers ( AstraZenaca ) ) a week ago. Again just a sore arm where needle went in..

That's it. So for those not sure, it's really no big deal and suggest do it when it's your turn. It's not just me but protects others around me, particularly family.

I don't even see it as selfishness. Everyone who gets the jab will be protected and there should be enough getting it to stop the virus spreading. So almost all the people getting covid will be the ones who didn't get the vaccine, and I've got no sympathy if they get sick or die if they refuse it. Just think of it as natural selection and a way to weed out some of the dumber members of society.

Why are people dumb or morons for having a different opinion?

Can't a debate be had without insults?

So there are no dumb opinions? I haven't heard an intelligent argument yet for refusing a vaccine.

Because with something so simple there shouldn't be different opinions. There isn't one single reason why anyone should be refusing the jab if they have an ounce of decency. We all want this shat over with, everyone gets jabbed it's over, the more people that don't get jabbed the more chance this thing mutates again and again putting lives at risk.
