We've played Bayern 6 times in recent years.

W3 L3, they are not invincible.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No one's ever invincible in football (the margins are too fine) but they look too much atm.

They're a different beast to when you played them before.

Since you last played them, Gnabry, Davies & Goretzka have emerged and Muller/Neuer/Boateng etc. have found their best form. Lewa has 35 goals in 25 league games. Plus they took one of your best players in Sane.

I think PSG could beat them if Neymar & Mbappe play well, and Real could beat them because they have a 'deal with the Devil' in the UCL. Can't see anyone else winning it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Would be great if Sane scored the goal that knocks City out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sane's good, Foden's better.

An aerial stocktake has found New Zealand's glaciers fared better than expected over summer - but the long-term prognosis for the icy wonders remains dire.

I think its a ridiculously difficult thing to achieve and even with your squad depth and strength Im not sure it will be done. 2 ties against dortmund, 2 against either psg or bayern sandwiched into the league schedule and and a fa cup semi and league cup final to toss in too.

Its so many high pressure matches in a fairly short period of time. Its not just the physical fatigue that will come with that but more so the mental fatigue at having to be bang at it pretty much every 3 days between now and end of season.

Personally I think something will give somewhere along the line. If it doesnt though and yous pull it off, what an outrageous achievement.

It could happen.

I mean, even Liverpool have won one EPL in thirty years.

This year is your year.

We've played twice a week since December, we'll be playing fewer games than most of our rivals for the next month.

Most of your rivals aren't competing on 4 fronts. And your 1st point is exactly my point, to continue to keep them levels up from december as you point out until the end of the season will take a monumental effort.

Football is a funny world and has a habit of surprising you. You'll probably win in the hardest competition of the 4, the CL, but lose to us in the League Cup therefore killing quad hopes early.

We've already played Wolves, the game that was due to be played on the weekrnd of the CC final.

We only need 4 more league wins to win the title and that's assuming United and/or Leceister win all their games.

We will have to rearrange our home game against Leeds because of the FAC SF, Pep may be in a position to play the youth team if things go our way.

Both the FA Cup and CL finals are due to be played after the domestic season is over.

It will be less hectic than the last 4 months but the games will be more high pressure.

Winning all 4 trophies is a vdery tall order but not impossible if fate is kind to us.

Not impossible at all and, with Covid still about, you never know why if/when a team gets struck down by it. In the CL though City will play teams who are better on the ball than in the PL but they do have every chance.

More than half our squad have had Covid, maybe that's an advantage.

They were my sentiments in my initial post, im certainly not sitting here saying its a no chance situation, i just personally think its such a demanding thing to do, to be that relentless right across the board for essentially an entire season. Its really the mental aspect that i think is the most difficult. To be that switched on every few days must take a massive toll.

Its never been done, Ive said before the premier league and champions league have only been won in the same season by united (twice). I think that shows how difficult it is to sustain the levels across all competitions.

If any squad is capable of doing it, it is this city squad but I still think there will be a slip somewhere. Just a personal opinion.

I'm trying to be positive but I'm certainly not betting my life savings on it.

Haha. If it is done it will eclipse anything peps achieved before, which says something.

You will lose to Spurs

posted on 21/3/21

I think there's a very real chance this could happen. The league is done, the LC final is against Spurs, which will be tough, but you're there so it's only one game to go and you're safely into the SF of the FA Cup, it would be a phenomenal achievement but it's possible.

The CL may even be on, you look one of the strongest teams in Europe at the moment, alongside Bayern as well. That will be the toughest ask though, but it's possible.

There’s no deal. They’ve generally been the best when thryve won it. Not this season though, they look a shadow..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, I think Liverpool, for all their struggles, will comfortably dispatch of Real. They're starting to get players back now and their front three will likely do serious damage. Real aren't prolific enough to respond imo
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Liverpool just lost 6-straight home games and didn't score a non-penalty goal.

They're not beating Real in the UCL.

Especially given that Real's form has picked up a lot in recent weeks. Their defence and midfield are levels above Liverpool's .

They will. And with some ease. Bookmark this

Liverpool are losers, and always will be
