Might be show that's how Brown might be heading for the granite city.
Could imagine a clash of personalities with those two.
The broony stare might not have the effect on Keane as say the wee boy Cochrane at hearts.😀

Not sure about Clarke either, better than Roy for sure imo but who else is the question?

Hope those responsible are thinking outside the box a tad but no faith that they are, sooner the better so whoever it is can get amongst the myriad of problems they face before next season cracks on

He's an egomaniac.
Will throw everybody under the bus.
Will leave as soon as the going gets tough.
Then blame everyone for the failure.

Be as well getting a five year old in.

Roy Keane is a fruitcake. A completely joyless, destructive psycho.

Pleasing.

he's a gingerless lennon

It’s a no for me on Keane. As ever the man who takes the seat will get my support.

I think a name like his might be an attraction to better players than Lennon ever could and his disciplinary standards will be far superior to those “installed” by Lennon as well. He’ll also demand far more from the board which Lennon could never do and there’s no barrier in Lawwell. There’s the positives.

On the neggy side he’s as likely to storm out in a huff if something goes wrong; upset decent players sigh his demands and fwck off the support. He’s also been out of the game for too long at the business end.

On balance he’s not worth the risk.

As JFK says surely we should be aiming higher even if we eventually have to settle for the best we can get.

In any event; if he was offered it I think his ego would make him turn it down and he’d be terrified about losing a league to a team managed by Gerrard.

His reputation for what it is would be in tatters.

You'd be as well getting Joey Barton in

Don't get this cancelling subscriptions or season books thing.

It's supporting the club; not an endorsement of the manager. All it will do is decrease revenue which in turn lessens our chance to buy or bring in better quality staff.

I never saw Rangers fans react like that when they had to start all over again. They got right behind their club despite a succession of clowns at the helm.

I sometimes despair at a lot of our support. They'll be the same ones whining at cup final or away ticket time.

Why does it have to be black and white?

I have Celtic TV since it started, must be close to 20 years now. I have been close to cancelling twice before through utter boredom, but didn`t do it. Both times under Lennon btw. Before I left Scotland I was also a regular at games. Been going for almost 50 years, if we include Celtic TV, which is also paid throughout the summer, games or not.

We`ve seen this season going downhill months ago but the board ignored it and decided to stand by Lennon. That and many other things this season have been instrumental in how bad we have become. Getting Keane in, who has a terrible track record and bad attitude, would be a sign of what you need to become manager of Celtic, rather than getting in a good manager. That is something I struggle to support.

I hope these are just rumours and that we will actually get someone capable in.

Sometimes supporting the club can also be saying, no, I am not funding that.
