A mention of Hendry V White should be in the OP. If Hendry wins I believe it knocks Jimmy off of the tour
Mentioned Hendry vs White
Glad it's back in April & early May, even if Ronnie doesn't get the full year as world champion...
Make it number 5 please John
Let's pick some of our best Crucible matches but let's do it without being biased so for example I have to list matches that didn't involve Stephen Hendry and Judd Trump.
First match that comes to mind is the 2003 semi final between Doherty and Hunter. Hunter was 15-9 Up but lost 17-16. Felt so bad for him but Doherty came from behind so many times that year.
I know it was only last year but that semi-final (final frame) between Wilson and McGill was ridiculous.
Yep I'd agree with that one. Also the other semi final between Ronnie and Selby last year
Where do I start π€π
I've watched every world championship since 1986 & probably have 20, so I'll do 1 a day....
Number 1, in no order... 2015 semi between Judd & Bingham, Absolute nail biter, Judd should have won that match, but Bingham did, & got the title...

I was also thinking of saying Bingham and Murphy in the final. Big breaks galore and very little safety. It was a good watch.
God that 2015 world semi final was painful
I can think of loads of great games, I'll post number 2 tomorrow π
Speaking of big breaks.....
It’s a shame the snooker calendar is so busy. A show like Big Break would probably help bring in a new audience to snooker. My visits to Sheffield usually have me sitting in a sea of 60+ year olds
Yea, loved a bit of Big Break back in the day! You are right too, it would bring a new audience to snooker
The Wilson Magill final frame, I've not actually seen it... Robbie from 2 down with 3 to play... 3 great frames...
Williams vs Higgins 2000 SF
It's only a game so put up a real good fight, I'm gonna be snookering you tonight.
I'm famed for my aim, so you'd better believe I'm rightπΆπΆπΆ
Yes Arsenal, that 2003 semi, who'd have thought what would happen to Paul Hunter, his best chance by far....
Obviously I'm sure plenty may feel the 1982 semi final between Jimmy and Alex Higgins and of course the 1985 world final, both were before I was born but I have watched the many times.
