Everyone can feel the pressure in the last few frames and if Murphy can somehow level it up, it could get interesting. However, Murphy probably needs to start winning frames in one visit and he doesn’t look like he can do that consistently.

This is reminding me of the 2016 final, Ding was always playing catch up, I remember him getting it back to trailing 8-7, then the last 2 frames of the 2nd session were long and he lost them both, he could then never seem to get within 1 frame behind and ended up losing 18-14

I think in 2016, Ding shot himself in the foot by being 6-0 down.

He destroyed MJW 13-3 and I think he had a pretty easy semi too.

That year he came through the qualifiers I think and it just seemed Ding’s year. He played well in the 2nd session and had he even shared the 1st session, most likely he would’ve won.

I think that year Dong played better than Selby overall but Selby to be fair performed better when it mattered.

Yes, unfortunately Judd has got to the point where is record at the Crucible is not looking that great. Thankfully he won it in 2019. Needs to be getting to the semis minimum in his peak years.

Robbo had some lean years and has now come back. Not sure if he’s ever gonna win the Worlds again, but he definitely should be getting to the semis and winning big matches.

Ronnie also at the beginning of the season played really weird, playing quite slow, playing on for snookers, the argument with Allen. I think he didn’t capitalise at all on World Title win.

Judd will hopefully win more world titles but he needs that 2nd world title asap, if he does that he could go on a run and easily win a few more. However the longer he stays on 1 the more difficult it will become.
I hope Judd and Selby will meet in a final next season. I want to see Judd give Selby a massive hammering!

I still haven’t given up hope on Ding winning one, but he needs to sort it out. Too inconsistent at the moment.
