Trent stands out in full back terms because of his vision and passing range which is different from nearly all others. And also his defensive weaknesses. But because of the former I’d want to concentrate on trying to solve that rather than have another competent but similar to many others decent all round fullback like James, because it’s a hell of a weapon to have at fullback. I felt almost the main reason Liverpool were so good was due to the utter brilliance of their fullbacks in an attacking sense, better than most teams out and out wingers. Not a slight on Jane’s, who’s very good and better balanced, but if taa can improve his defending he’d be something else.
It’s actually a worthy debate if people want to be reasonable about and not just point score after each player has a bad/good game.

I like Reece a lot but I know which one is having a better career and has won trophies so let's just leave it until RJ actually achieves something shall we?
