Pressure playing for us and Westham is different levels. He's always been a capable PL player but he's not the answer for us.

Could get a decent fee though.

He did under Jose didn’t he? Some of his best form.

Good player and I rate him but maybe for the run-in they thought they needed their strongest players and he's a Jesse?

He did at first under Ole as well. But then Ole just refused to use him there.

Just seems to be totally different player for David Moyes, either Moyes is a brilliant manager or there’s been a big change of attitude from Jesse.

Teams often play differently against West Ham than they do Utd.

He’s doing very well though and was always a skilled player.

I think he needed that move as he didn’t get trust from Ole. Similar situation with Dele Alli, I think he too need to get away from Jose.

Lingard’s obviously had confidence issues. Looks happy at West Ham and why he’s performing.

Happy he’s doing well.

Took some unfair stick for us when he always gave his all.

I’d still sell him though so hopefully there’s some competition for his signature with this good form.

I don’t think it was specifically confidence issues. The guy has endured an enormous amount of hell outside of football for the past 18 months. Glad a move away from the scrutiny of Man Utd has done him good.

This loan was the best thing we've ever done for him.

Revived his career...now he's in demand
