Yes. I’m sure a manager who has won 26 trophies hasn’t got a clue when it comes to man management
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ouch
Just to remind everybody Jose has won
Eight league titles
Four domestic FA Cups
Six domestic League Cups
Two Champions Leagues
Two UEFA/Europa Leagues
in four different countries, with five different clusbs
but, but Jose cannot man manage players.
Honestly our supporters, and others are hilarious at times.

De Bruyne, Salah, Lukaku, Luiz, Romeu, Filipe Luis are the players rejected by Mourinho who came good afterwards: each of them won a trophy or reached the ECL Semis and better , with their new teams.
One mistake is forgivable but on the basis of this evidence OP is spot on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Jose should be labelled a genius that he was able to move that many decent players on, and still win multiple trophies.

Chelsea literally won the league the following season. Does this not justify selling De Bruyne? Maybe Jose just didn't think KDB was right for his set up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don`t be silly, that doesn`t suit the ante Jose agenda.
So let`s get our heads around this Jose sells De Bruyne and then wins the league the following season, but Jose apparently doesn`t know what he is doing.
no matter what manager is at the club they are destined to fail with our fanbase

If he was anywhere near the manager he was when he won those cups do you really hand on heart believe he'd be with us? That should tell you something.

Why not? Poch was, and he had won nothing, but apparently is the best manager ever. Jose obviously being only the second best manager ever jumped at the chance to manage Spurs.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's a good point. While this obviously upset de Bruyne his methods worked for the rest of the squad. It's easy too simplistic to say he's a bad manager because of one incident in private where a player got offended.
Though it does seem to be increasingly apparent that his man management skills are not working with us. And that's the bottom line here. If our players don't like being called out for not performing it doesn't matter how right he is, it won't get the reaction he wants.

Who by comparison has even been able to spend the ludicrous sums Jose spent at most them clubs? No one.
He spent obscene sums at Chelsea before FFP was really a thing. It was comical what they spent each window. At real he spent in the same way. Did the same at United too.
Jose wins trophies if he can buy whatever he wants. And even then as many have pointed out before, he always manages to waste some of the best players in the world by not identifying their true quality.
Give me a hundreds of millions to spend and some of the world's best squads and I'd win trophies I'm sure.
He isn't great in the transfer market with a fixed budget and doesn't work miracles. That's obvious. He always manages to pi55 off half his squad in 2-3 years too which is far more consistent than his trophy hauls.
