Always someone pulls away the first day, hoping he gets reigned back in today He was outstanding that back 9, holing everything.
My picks so so, Reed had a good round and is right up there, JT v disappointing, couldn't hole anything yesterday and Rob Mac on +2 which is a great first round for him.
Still think Speith will come good and will be in top 5 at worst.
Dread to think what damage his game will do at the open!

He will just hit low and longer than the rest. In deep rough there is nobody better.
Do they set it up to combat his long hitting? If so the rough will just be horrible
Rose back to -4. Gonna be a cracker of a weekend!
And back to -7 again!
So many potential winners at the moment if Rose slightly eases off.

Got £40 back for Reed e/w bet but I'm still reeling from my Rob Macintyre e/w bet....skybet paying 11 places and him finishing 12th, 1 shot off He was 9th aswell with 3 holes to play then bogeyed 16 and 17 the margins are so fine....missed a 60 ft birdie putt on 16 by an inch and it rolls 4 ft past then misses the par putt. Some effort from him though.....think that's the last time he'll be 125/1 for a good while anyway, gonna be a top player!
My outright bet on Justin Thomas was looking good on Saturday....he'd got to within 1 of the lead early doors in his 3rd round then just could not hole anything......and then had a complete meltdown triple bogeying a par 5 chucked it from there.
Can't believe how close it finished....I turned off aftrer Macintyre finished as Matsuyama was 4 ahead with 4 to play and looking inevitable. The whole day had been a bit of an anti climax up until that last few holes that I missed
You missed a good end, such fine margins as you say.
