Jose looking to rebuild for next season

As well as adding a number of new signings in the summer, Mourinho also has a plan for Lo Celso.
=============================
Build his plan around Gio, who is 75% of the time unavailable and injured?

You have a point.

Jose is a genius though, and will have Lo Celso involved in 50 matches next season no problem.

The club will also be targeting a new right-back, as Kyle Walker-Peters’ future at the club comes under speculation.

I did mention it was this season`s plan. But he is on course apparently to update shortly and make it a five year plan, so I hear from my ITK`s.

Should have taken a story from 2010 Sandy, when Jose was a top manager.

Didn`t Jose win a European Trophy a couple of seasons ago? Or have I got that wrong. That would be a bigger trophy than Spurs have won in 30 years. Not sure we are in a position to be having a pop at a manager that has won so much over a very illustrious career.

Yup a continuation of his rebuild. Looks like Jose his here long term. Finally put his roots down for a proper project. Easy to win trophies at the big clubs, like Pep does. Jose is going to show it can be down at a medium to big club like Spurs. A team with a decent, but not stella history. He will do it on a budget that is within the clubs means, and not just blow the opposition out of the water with a bottomless pit of money like City have. Fair play to him. I reckon he will relish taking on the financial doped clubs over a longer period, than his usual three year stint. Good for him.

Why not?

1. If he delivers a trophy, he will have achieved what he was brought on for

2. If he gets to 4, the club will give him time and resources to build on.

3. The club cannot afford to compensate him and get a new manager and make further transfer money available to the new manager

So plenty of reasons why he could still be here next season!

Point 2 is if he gets top p 4

Sandy what the fathing do you mean?

The guys won't take us anywhere in our current state?

Poch couldn't steer this club towards his final days and yet he was their coach for over 5 years?

The club needs an overhaul top to bottom, that's all!

They went for Jose, because they are trying to steer the club back up without spending big which is what is needed.
They? Enic and Levy.
They know this club needs some serious investment and I mean serious money, over $500m to get to challenge the top sides.
Enic won't do that and have never done that.

So they brought in Jose expecting him to do miracles, but we all in Football you only get what you put in.

Put in horsemanure, and you'll get players who are jittery and clueless at best of times.

Poor Jose, he should have read about ENIC before joining us.

All his good records are being destroyed by this club.

I don't know where you're getting your info from Sandy but nearly all of the ITK info out there now seems to be the same. He's gone in the summer, no buts.

Nagelsmann is keen by all accounts and that's the club's number one target.

Not sure where you're hearing your info from. I know a lot of the ITKs haven't got a clue but there's one who really does seem to get everything right. He's certain that even if we win the Cup and finish 4th he's still gone. The club hierarchy are furious with him for attacking the players publicly and saying "same manager, different players". These are sellable assets to DL and Jose has just said on record that they're all no good. The price the club can charge for these players is tumbling every week.

Yes he is. If come the summer he fails to get us in the CL, which let's face it, is looking very unlikely, a clause is activated in his deal which makes his pay off much, much cheaper.

Think about it. Pay off Jose for maybe £10-15 million (assuming we don't make CL) is a lot cheaper than overhauling the squad to make him happy. It makes much more financial sense to get someone in that's happy to work with that team.

Sticking with Jose and backing him will cost £150-200 million.

Getting rid with cost, at most, £30 million.

No brainer. He's gone.
