I've said often, most managers talk crap, especially after a loss. Including our own SAF.
Honourable mention to Steve Coppell who told it like it was.
The Best Team In World Football® shouldn't have to play at someone's training ground. It's like if someone had asked The Jimi Hendrix Experience to play at a village fete.

It is all about the quality of the deflection tactic. Really daft ones like this tend to not work.

Tbf once you get beyond the decent excuses - wind, rain, pitch, opposition playing the wrong way, your injuries, their injuries - then you will tend to end up at the not proper ground/overly milky tea/couldn't get the p()rn on the hotel tv bottom of the barrel
