Gut feeling says he moves, but football can change so quickly.
I wouldn't wanna lose him. The last 18 months has proven he's a more than reliable hand to have in the squad, and with our recent history with strikers (first team & backups) I can't turn my nose up at that. The offer would have to be serious, 40mil+, for me to be happy with that.
NOW is the time Tammy boy !....go out and show what you really can do .
40mil +
Lower end PL player eventually, will find his place lower and lower down much like happened to Welbeck, so if he's lucky a top half side next, then bottom half/championship.
The double standards, ease at which Tuchel is happy to throw Tammy under the bus + use him as the fall guy is astonishing and disconcerting, don't like it one bit...
Whilst a player who shall not be named gets ample opportunities and patience, despite being the least compatible attacker is rotten. No two ways about it.
Pretty evident he’s not good enough currently. When he doesn’t score he doesn’t offer the team anything. Unfortunately. I thought he’d make it and still believe he will in the pl. but I doubt he will make it with us
Got Villa written all over him.

I like Ollie Watkins, reckon Villa will stick with him.
I really wouldn't be surprised to see Leicester make a move. Vardy can't go on forever and whilst he's not as quick as JV, Abraham runs the channels and stretches defences in a similar way. Plus the lad can finish.
I think some fans are way too harsh on him. He’s absolutely great to have as an option in any squad and further to that he does have potential to grow into a very potent striker. As such I’d much prefer he stayed.
However currently I wouldn’t have him as starter, just a squad option. I think he may leave in summer because despite potentially being top two seasons in a row he is still not seen as first choice. In that scenario although unfortunate I don’t think it’s anyone’s fault.
But TT *could* be at fault for further pushing Tammy out the door by unnecessarily reducing his squad role further in recent weeks. I’m of the opinion something probably happened behind closed doors for this to happen.
Let's face it, if he cant break into this goal shy Chelsea team with a misfiring Werner then he is done at Chelsea

All of this
Just incredibly hypocritical answers on Tammy and Timo/Kai/Puli. WBA was Puli’s first goal in 20, Timo has 1 in his last 20 league games, Kai hasn’t scored since Southampton in September. The idea that these players are “on form” is mad to me and others come back in half fit.
Tammy’s still our top PL goal scorer and Werner’s played over double the amount of games
Tammys also got the most goals and assists combined of any 23 or under player in the world.
Shows how crap Werner is and what a load of BS Tuchel talks.

Yeah I think so too, but remember all the talk about Tammy saying he was looking to leave this summer if he wasn't first choice. That was a couple of months back. Since then Tammy's barely kicked a ball.
Am I mistaken in thinking he was injured when tuchel came in?

I'd have to disagree with that Nick. If he doesn't score he's still running his socks off for the team , turning up in defence to make interventions and generally putting a shift in.
Your description to me is the epitome of a typical Giroud performance. Don't get me wrong I like Ollie, he's a consumate professional and someone who's handy to have on the bench if you're struggling for a goal when nothing else is working. When he starts though, I often forget he's playing, yet he seems to have forged a niche as a Cult hero with a section of our fans.
Tammy on the other hand is our top goalscorer this season, covers much more ground than Ollie and it's thanks to his goals we're in the Champions League this year despite not being fully fit for most of the 2nd half of last season.
Definitely have to agree to disagree on the workrate aspect Brum. He’s ridiculously lazy nowadays and just stands about throwing his hands in the air.
Also completely disagree with giroud, who is our best forward when not scoring. Epitomised by his all round game in the world up being a vital part without actually scoring. His link up play, aerial ability and way he frees up space for Werner is top level.
I don’t think I could disagree with you more. Ollie also has the ability to control the ball whether as bambi on ice does not.
Being a bit harsh to extend my point with the bambi on ice comments and I don’t mind Tammy, but I don’t think he’s our level and never have.
I’d be more than happy for Tammy to be given ago, or giroud. Both seem to have fleeting appearances nowadays to it in Werner and havertz who the less said the better
I keep waiting for Tammy to bulk up, and when he does, then he'll be the business - a far bigger threat.
But maybe he'll always have his spindly build, just like Crouch.
I think he has an intelligent game, but just needs to be that bit stronger.
Also, in the youth team he was a deadly poacher, but he seems to have lost a lot of that instinct - you rarely see him in the right place in the 6 yard box.
yet he seems to have forged a niche as a Cult hero with a section of our fans
------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea fans determined to be seen as the ones who didn't underestimate Giroud, and I believe it's worked
Plus those "OMG, I can't believe how close that was" faces whenever he misses any chance are hilarious
It looks like we see different games Nick.
All I'll say is he hasn't been able to cement a regular place down with us or at Le Ar$e, were he was 3rd choice striker, so I say there's at least 4 successive managers who don't rate him that highly either.
I appreciate Tammy is no Kane or Aguero but he's always been a regular goalscorer and I think there's a lot of misplaced, disrespect shown towards him!

I think his upper body strength is his Achilles heel bloo, for his size, as a striker he needs to be much harder to out muscle in aerial duals!

I still like him Dev but I only ever have viewed him as a 'Super sub'. I find when he starts, he's mostly on the periphery of the game and has no obvious impact on play!
