He’s playing and being sung about, in front of our fans

He's not going anywhere imo, not yet anyway. Either Man C, Real or Barca. Nobody else in England will get him. He'll be here next season and will have fans singing his name.

One recent trend I have seen with Orta/Bielsa signings is they go for decent lads (or at least that’s how it seems)

The loyal sorts. You look at our squad are there are a lot you would perceive as good lads in it. Even Roy Keane was saying how he had heard Phillips was a good lad

It’s something they seem big on and you wonder if that’s why we pulled the plug on Cuisance

Raphinha seems to have settled in well. I read a recent interview where he suggested he wanted to find a place where he felt happy and valued and could play the game how he wants. He has that and we will continue to offer that.

I would be surprised to see him leave but I appreciate money and opportunity talk

Raphinha's last club said he was worth 40-50 or so million!..

And shortly afterwards sold him to us for less than they said!..

He said when coming here he didn't want to leave and felt undervalued!..

Seeing him play you see why, but we have to think on, if a really big offer gets thrown at us, he may go!..

He’s coming to Liverpool. Look after him until the summer guys.

Yep, and Haaland's coming to Leeds, so that'd take a bit of the sting out of us losing him!..

I wasn’t joking though.

Neither was I!.

Would he get a start with lord Bamford upfront though?

posted on 10/4/21

Well Bamford gets videos of him!..

So anything is possible!..

Cant imagine e woud go to liverpool, if he does go it will be for champions league football.

Man City, Madrid or maybe Barcelona are te teams we have to worry about losing him to

Sort of player who needs to be playing

Not sure he would get a start at Liverpool. Salah/Mane are surely too good to leave out despite in some aspect indifferent seasons and Jota has been class

Going nowhere

Gonna be adored in front of us for a few years at least

Signings we can and will make will just improve us again

He’s gonna get some reception when we get to watch him properly

i think he'll sign an extension.don't see him going anywhere in the near future.

Seems to have fitted in well at the club, despite language issues. Costa obviously speaks Portuguese and I think there is a lot of similarities between Spanish and Portuguese so Poveda, Pablo, Rodrigo, Llorente and possibly Bamford and Alioski should be able to communicate with him.
What puzzles me about Raphinha is two things, why so many clubs, fans favourite at Rennes yet they sold him at a loss, doesn't seem to stay anywhere for very long. Wonder whether there are issues.
Secondly why has he never been called up to play or Brazil at any level full squad, U23, U21 or Olympic. This is despite him breaking through at Vitória Guimarães when he was just 19. Flair player, typical Brazilian, Yet no international recognition. Has he come on under Bielsa or just been overlooked?

He’s head and shoulders your best player from what I’ve seen. Think he’s a top level/potential top level player so can see big clubs being interested however with the impact covid has had on spending across the league then could be good news.

I dont think he will do well at other clubs. He needs a Bielsa type of manager to do well. Bielsa plays him in a system which suits him. You can see Bielsa has improved him with taking good position, his off the ball movement and runs behind the opposition defence.

Not sure how you can judge either way to be honest, played 28 games for Sporting scored 6, 28 for Rennes scored 6 played 25 for us scored 6.
Pretty consistent.
I have read that he was a fan's favourite at Rennes which would indicate that he had a least a few good games there.
Haven't watched many Rennes games that he played in so don't really know what influence Bielsa has had.

Think he stated a while back how much he's taken to the club and that he loves playing under MB, the tracking back helping out the defence and the high intensity of Bielsaball is the way he enjoys playing.
Hopefully this means he'll be in no hurry to move on.
