Issues in front of goal

Boris that has given me small hope at least that Man City are due some bad results away from home. We only have a slim chance but it is better than trying to scrape top 4 like last season.

Why are we 'due some bad results' away from home?

The fixtures start to thin out in a couple of weeks and we can field our best starting XI for most games.

No International Breaks either.

Ironically, had Leeds kept 11 on the pitch they would not have set up camp in their own 18 yard box and City may well have won easily. Having so many of the first choice players out hurt but Pep was right to prioritise Dortmund, where City simply have to score. I wouldn't be in a hurry to play Sterling in that one.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he started Sterling tbh.

Pep usually starts smoking opium when we get to a the latter stages of the CL

I should have said it is more likely Man City results away from home are unsustainable. Most teams have a dip at some stage but if Man City continue it then fair play to them.

Re: Leeds. I'm sure Pep was watching when Sterling missed a sitter from 10 yards. He almost certainly noticed Sterling's counter attack in the 83rd minute when rather than pass it to Foden, who was in the clear on his left, ran straight into trouble and lost it. Nothing personal against the guy, but he's reverted back to three seasons ago and if he starts against Dortmund then I'll be writing a strongly worded letter to Khaldoon to inform him of my discontent.

Foden was forcing the defenders to back up, something Sterling isn't doing anywhere near enough. Cannot be other than Foden Jesus and Mahrez as the front 3 against Dortmund.

Aguero's the only player we've got who can 1 to 1 with a GK and score 4 times out of 5.

I'd have more confidence in Delap finishing in that situation than I have with Jesus, Mahrez or Sterling.

I hope Aguero is at least on the bench, question is whether Pep will go for 2 DM's, in which case will one be Gundo who can go forward sometimes, will Bernardo who runs his socks off and works well with Mahrez make the team? In which case I assume KDB as a false 9?
