We did well to penetrate the bus of deception today
Henderson, AWB, Shaw, Pogba, Greenwood & especially Cavani were brilliant
I'll agree
the sense of overcoming injustice and defeating the antifootball that is jose
but still concerning we have to go behind to play well
That was a good a United performance as I have seen pretty much throughout the game really. I personally felt as if you were quite unlucky to go in 1-0 down at the break. But the 2nd half you were really good.
You need a better CB than Lindelof, a long-term successor for Cavani and potentially a better holding midfielder as well, but things do look better for United I'll admit.
Although, having said that McTominay was lucky with the foul for the disallowed goal, he was also quite lucky to be on the pitch after he wrestled Hojbjerg to the ground with about 10 minutes to play. Ndidi got away with one similar when Leicester played earlier.
I love our character and tenacity but why the feck do we always have to concede to get going?!
Overall deserved the win, it was a phenomenal second half showing.
To add, I don't think United will always "get away" with going behind first in games and recovering to win. You have been very good at it this season and I don't mean to say that you didn't deserve the win, you did, it was more that it will catch up with you at some point.
Similar to how Liverpool's injuries or intensity have caught up and Man City's defensive issues caught up with them etc.
Best second half I can recall for a good long while?
Just went for it, better tempo, better passing, more forward thinking, great to watch
Agreed! Definitely enjoyed that second half today. Pogba is elite
Probably the best we have played against a team that sits deep. Cavani and Pogba is forming a really good understanding. Hopefully they will be with us for next season
Pogba was god tier 2nd half. Spurs couldn't get the ball off him in the end
I thought the lads did well to control their temperament. You could see coming out the VAT decision was still in their minds.

Better than against Man City?..
It's certainly up there.
It was a very good second half and it'd be harsh to really fault a single player.
There'd be far fewer complaints and less criticism of this team and the management if we played like that more often.
Anyway, today has definitely been a good day.
Switching Pogba’s role up second half made a massive difference.
One of Ole’s best half time changes this season.
He was good when he found himself in those number 10 positions.
We need A CDM, so we can unleash Pogba in attack.
For this season I’ve wanted him to break up the McFred partnership cos we have nobody else.
But we need him on that leftside of mid.
Oh, and he needs to stay, for that to work too

That must haven been Phelan, as I'm reliably informed that Ole doesn't make such tactical changes. Especially not after a mere 45 minutes.

If we got someone like Ndidi and Pogba kept working as hard as he is now, it'd be interesting to see.
I think we should really be looking at a more progressive midfielder than Ndidi.
Yep, he can replace Matic. Then we can rotate round the 3 of them, maybe Donny will become a factor.
Cos where else can he fit in?
We still believe Ole will go with 4-2-3-1, next season?

You still watching much Portuguese football, TRS?
Seen Palhinha this season? Sporting have been in incredible form.
I'd say the same for him tbh. He's physically imposing and very good defensively which is his main job but I think he's a bit limited/safe in possession.
We really could do with a midfielder who offers a sizeable upgrade on the ball to McTominay and Fred.
