Olé in, Ole out

Be nice to see a good push and more expansive football for the last few games. We saw in that 2nd half what we can do with a bit more expression. Absolutely love Greenwood, kid oozes class. Biggest concern is Rashford. We need to give him a couple of weeks rest and bring him back for Leeds game. He has bern hobbling around for weeks now. Clearly he is struggling and we could be doing more harm than good. Mason is more than an adequate replacement

Yeah I enjoyed that second half. The first half was a bit of a non-event and I don't think either side deserved to go in in front. But there's little doubt that whether the decision to disallow our goal was correct or not, the reaction of Son lit a fuse under our players. And to be fair to Ole, he obviously must have got the players to use that sense of injustice in a positive manner when he spoke to them at the break. As we were in danger of losing our cool and possibly a player or two with how the first half ended.

At the start of the season, I thought that 72 points should be the target, as it would mark a decent points improvement upon last season and would probably be the tally required to guarantee top 4. That target looks very attainable now so let's get there and see if we can average two points a game and finish on 76+. That would be a very good season with the squad we have imo

Good point on Rashford. He's been taken off a few times lately and on each occasion has looked less than fully mobile. He's had back issues and those sort of injuries can recur and also lead to hamstring problems etc. So it's a cause for concern. Sooner we wrap up top 4, the better as then we could possibly rest him the odd game

Fred completed more passes [60] and made more ball recoveries [11] than any other player on the pitch vs. Spurs.

Going to say ole out. Was thinking he was doing a good job, but after being on the match thread I’ve come to realise, Fred is a league 2 player, and cavani is an old man that we should replace with a 120m player who’s old man keane broke his leg, so probably has no intention of ever joining us.,

Ole out..

Of all the stats I see on here, that one surprised me the most because 90% of the time, Fred's running round pretending to know what he's doing.

Roy Keane talking absolute nonsense today when he said Fred was poor. I am really surprised people rate him as a pundit. Entertaining, yes. Bar that, I cannot say he really is a good pundit.

I thought Fred was poor up to the goal, but improved greatly after. My favourite bit about Keano's rant was he was saying scoring the goal was the only good thing he did, whilst the replay showed him involved three times in the buildup to the goal, which he refused to acknowledge as good play

Personally thought we were average first half and nothing in it between both teams. Second half Fred was winning the ball and covering the back line very well.

Which shows you up for being the tw@t of a 'fan' that you have been for so long now.

You have been deaf to people, who clearly know better than you, who have been telling you that under Ole we are progressing; of which you have, so far, been in denial of.

Looks like the reality is finally getting the better of you. Now shut the fuq up and let the club get on with it.

Or do you STILL believe United should sack Ole tonight and start all over again?

One swallow? We are 2nd in the league and potentially 8pts behind 1st. Last season we were 30pts adrift.

Why can't you just admit you're an absolute plank and know nothing? This team isn't perfect and isn't the finished article but we have made good progress.

If we come 2nd say by 6 to 8 PTS and win the Europa League will you still want him sacked?

You're praising Ole for finishing 30 points adrift last year?

You know the season before he took over, we finished second on 81 points.

Quit the crying.

Progress will be winning big cups and actually challenging in the league.

Jesus, Im arguing with a tag team of a couple of the biggest planks on here...

if you want to know what progress is for Man United at the moment I advise you to listen to Bruno Fernandes' interview on TalkSport radio last week.

And as for crying like a little diddums Karen... even when the team in red that you clearly hate, actually wins.....

Best performance in a good while that and looks like Mason is hitting form for the run in. Hopefully we can solidify 2nd and push City to win it as late as they possibly can and win the EL. That would be a good season in my humble opinion.

posted on 12/4/21

It would be ridiculous to argue that this team is not improving. Ole has created without doubt good camaraderie amongst the players and we have improved as a team since he took over from Mourinho when we were spanked by Liverpool.

I still do not think this manager is good enough to take us to the next gear, and we will know now next year.

What is also ridiculous however is to shut down individuals saying this club needs a trophy. This is Manchester United and you can bang on about " support your club" all you want, the requirement of a manager now at this club is deliver good football and bloody trophies.

I find it bizarre after a good win we are here doing this, but it is utter madness to try paint this season like it has been some magnificent improvement from last due to last nights magnificent win.

Yes it would. Which is the minimum that we want to hear from some of the tools who post on here who claim they are actually United fans.

++++

Nor does anybody else know... including every single 'Ole Inner'. But if you accept that this obvious progress is in the right direction it makes sense that it will probably lead to greater things. Which is why I continue to support Man United with the current players and football operations staff. And I will until that hope is extinguished.

And yes, as we have been telling you lot, next season is the year to judge Ole. And I for one, will be doing so.
