I agree with both of you to a degree

Fabio's biggest issue IMHO as one of his critics is just how far he was (note I said was not is) from first team ready at an outlay of £36m, we were down to bare bones and his tranny fee could have been spent wiser.

The only way the kids will develop is by getting minutes for the first team, playing for the Unders doesn't replicate top level footy enough in my opinion.

it's a risk blooding so many at the same time but as the risk of relegation is no longer real then the best benefit is our best youth getting 5 or 6 games under their belts

The time for experimenting is on the training ground. Kids need to be introduced gradually and play alongside enough seniors to stand a chance of being in a winning team. Playing kids in teams that get turned over doesn’t do much for their experience and confidence at all.

If we throw 5 kids in the team on Saturday and lose at home to Sheffield Utd I guarantee you that Nuno will be roundly slated on social media

or they may swim rather than sink? not get turned over and do a good job

the more of our youngsters getting a chance to play, the more the others see there's a chance for them and also helps us attract other youngsters into our set-up

I don't think we are a very good club for bringing youth through at the moment. Other than Neto, all the young players we have brought in since being promoted have barely had any opportunities.

Attracting young players is probably the best way for us to gatecrash the top 6. A bit like Dortmund do, where players like Bellingham and Sancho choose to go to them as they know they will get game time and develop.

As a club we have become quite inflexible with our starting line ups and have a fixed set of players who will make the team regardless of performance.

It's a balance. RAN will no doubt play the rest of the season. Would be good to see Vitinha get a few proper opportunities of more than 20 mins as well. MGW seems be getting first look though I don't understand why, hasn't impressed me once. Silva I hope gets a start or two to reward him for improvement of late. Corbeanu will come from the bench if at all and not sure we will see Otasowie. Kilman? Who knows. Not sure Hoever will get much of a look in either in the run in.

I don't think either of Vitinha or MGW have really had a fair go. Both tend to only get 10-20 minutes and generally get stuck out wide when both want to play centrally (although MGW further forward that Vitinha).

I think both will go on to become good players if we let them go and they get a chance elsewhere.

I'm not sure why none of those players play in any u23s games either. We seem to bring them into the first team squad and then just stick them on the bench, so the barely play at all.

Sporting Lisbon won away on Friday night to go 8 points clear of Porto and Benfica and they have yet to lose a game this season. Former Wolves midfielder Pedro Goncalves got the only goal of the game and he is the top scorer in the Portuguese league

The lesser spotted Marcal was back in training today at Compton

18 for the season now isn't it

Must be rare for a midfielder to be top scorer in any league

If Newcastle avoid defeat at lunchtime then Sheff Utd will be relegated if they lose at Molineux tonight

Anyone expecting Wolves to win easily this evening will likely be disappointed. 9 of Sheffield Utd’s defeats this season have been through a score line of 1-0

Well that accounts for 9 of the 55 goals that they've conceded so of the other 22 games they've played they have conceded 46 which averages more than 2 per game.

Had a feeling it would be 1-0
