Delighted with it. Want players to show fire, that's what he did. The fact you're still posting on here is a disservice to the Leeds board.

Whilst i agree in part Donn that the tweet was not great i have some understanding that the player probably did this in the heat of the moment at the final whistle. He probably felt the red card was unjust. We all make mistakes in life but this is just a minor one.

If he was a young player of 19 or 20 I’d make an allowance but he’s a seasoned professional .

I genuinely don't understand what enjoyment you derive from football, when we have just beaten the champions elect, and you're here making two posts complaining about a tweet that wasn't even that bad.

What exactly offended you? Can you break down for us what it is that you don’t like about what he said and what relevance it is to anything?

I actually think the club will have enjoyed what he said as it appears he never deleted it.

Get a grip it’s a sport not a war. It’s stuff like that caused some people to hate Leeds many moons ago .I dont want those days back again .I’m pretty sure Marcelo doesn’t either.

If you're looking to back a popular club then I think you picked the wrong club to 'support'.

Fact is, Coops has a track record in the red mist and his tweet reflects his aggressive streak. We need defenders who intimidate their opponents, but what he did could have ended another player's career. I am sure Marcelo will pull him up over this.

Every tackle could end a players career!
Sterling on Ralph’s ankle? Sterling on Meslier’s wrist? Both very capable of causing serious injury.

Coopers was not that bad in my opinion but maybe he will just learn not to tackle and instead take players out of the game with cynical fouls in future.

Good, I hope we continue to be hated.

I know its fantasy but imagine if we had beaten Man City away from home with 10 men what would Donn have had to complain about.

Not that something as incredible as that would ever happen in the real world.

Instead of looking for what Leeds players do and their reactions after doing it, why don't you look at the City player that dropped our player like a bag of crap?..

Or didn't you see that one, you know, the one that went unpunished!..

As for you don't want the old back, I found football a lot more fun when men were men and didn't fall like chicken crap and stand up again after not getting their oscars!..

Except that red card wasn't anything to do with the red mist, He's challenged for a 50/50, won the ball, and is unlucky with the manner of the subsequent collision. These things happen. He hasn't gone into that challenge with the express intention of injuring Jesus.

And, in fact, Cooper's disciplinary record the last couple of years has been great,

If he'd planted a cross and nailed Jesus to it than we'd know it was intentional/serious!..

Imagine Roy Kean in that situation, a Vet would have come on and put Jesus out of his miseries!..

People having a go at Cooper still after 3 years don’t understand our manager, Coops is first name on the team sheet, he’s our leader a good one at that and a damn good player

With Lubo.

This whole debate over the tackle is bugging the sh 1 t
out of me. He had no intention of hurting or taking out Jesus. It was clearly a 50/50 that Cooper got to first.

The issues start and end with the fact the ball was on the up bounce. Cooper did great to get there first and clear the ball. But the angle and height of the ball at the time Cooper hit it was angled upward and on a collision course with the oncoming (and late to the ball) Jesus. This, to me, was clearly accidental. No malice. It just so happens that Cooper is 1) a Leeds player and 2) the target still, of some fans. Otherwise it would've been labeled what it was
accidental contact. IMO

Massive fan of Liam.

I'll add, Fernandinho's reckless tackle on Raph toward end of game was worse and didn't even warrant a chat with the bloody ref.
