Think they were all a bit incredulous at first - even Kamara for a split second.
You could see it in the two nearest Slavia players - they genuinely looked taken aback but not enough to doubt Kamara or start 'fighting' back with the Rangers players who got involved.
I think that's why they waited in the tunnel - partly cos what happened 'sunk in' a bit more.
It was a mistake for me though - easy to say with hindsight but it gave Slavia something with which to deflect...

10 games is the minimum ban available which is a disgrace. Kamara actually got 5 games reduced to 3 on appeal.
Hopefully some sanctions for Slavia too now that Kudela has been done for the nonsense in the aftermath.
Disappointing for us too in that Kamara and Roofe will now miss the CL qualifiers which will have a big impact on next season.

I can understand why they banned Kamara because you cant just condone players taking the law into their own hands.
However it would probably have gone down well enough with most folk if they had given him a suspended ban given the extreme provocation he had faced.

Trippier got a 12 game ban for texting his mate that his move to Atletico was on.
No issue with Roofe's ban, think the ban for Kamara is disproportionate to the Kudela ban and Kudela should get at least 15 games.
Put it this way, if Czech have a decent Euros Kudela will be free to play in the playoff for UEFA's flagship club competition and will wear a respect armband whilst Kamara sits in the house banned.
He had to be banned for the reaction. If not you could see every chancer
who lashed out claim they were racially abused.

It will certainly rumble on. This is just the beginning and I am sure Prague will appeal for starters.
And if the outcomes of the Police investigation and the UEFA investigation are different - ie the police find it cant be proven then I am sure that will feature in Slavias inevitable appeal.
Kamara should have got the full 5 games for not hitting him hard enough.
10 games is too lenient and i'd have him banned from all football for 6 months.
what irks me is 3 in comparison to 10.
Slavia have just issued a statement saying they accept the ban and apologised to Kamara and Rangers.
As commendable as this is it's pretty sickening they put the player through this and didn't just do this weeks ago. Long overdue but telling they have accepted it and apologised. Hopefully puts to bed any doubts about guilt.
Aside from everything else, I still don't get the mentality of racially abusing an opponent late on in a game when you're utterly scudding them.
It's not as if you're trying to wind them up to cause them to lash out or you're frustrated because you're losing. It's just being a horrible git for absolutely no reason.

The Euros are every 4 years, and at his age, I doubt Kudela will be playing by the time the next one comes round. Kamara will get to play at the Euros, and be available for rangers CL campaign, based on obvious assumptions.
I don’t see a huge issue with that. I’d have thought missing out on the Euros would be a bigger loss than a couple of qualification matches?
In an ideal world though Kudela wouldnt be playing in either the Euros or next seasons European competitions.
I am still amazed at this outcome and Slavias climbdown.
There must have been some pretty compelling evidence brought forward that they have accepted it so readily.
And for me it would probably have to be more than just the word of Zungu and Kamara. I couldnt see Salvia rolling over and taking it just on their word.
So that either leaves a bl00dy good lip reader or the Slavia players who were standing looking a bit shocked fessing up.
I don't think they needed to investigate much to find compelling evidence. Zungu heard it and his own team mate was sending whatsapp messages to people laughing about it.
Slavia will not have been under any illusions about what he said. I still remember the image of the big striker they had when Zungu and Kamara were chasing after him. He knew what had been said and looked absolutely disgusted, and made no attempt to stop them getting after his teammate.
I don't think their conduct has been based on a belief he was innocent.

Again shows how bad UEFA are when people are genuinely surprised that they did anything at all.
But UEFA fine Man UTD for not controlling their player for 5 yellow cards, but Slavia get nothing for a Racist player of theirs, who attempted to insult everybody’s intelligence with his bogus excuse.

Agree there should be some punishment against the club too, but tbh I think the minimum 10 game ban is what could have been expected. Unless one of his own teammates testified against him, uefa can't "prove" that he actually said something. Minimum punishment in the regulations for something that only had compelling circumstantial evidence is probably reasonable on balance.
Of course I do still hope someone breaks the coont's legs and ends his career.
